She listened to what I wanted re length and layers and was actually able to create the cut I had in mind. She takes time and care to get everything just right. “My experience with the Tattoo Piercing Academy, Glasgow Course 2025 was beyond what I expected. Leah made the experience fun, informative, professional and flexible. Having AuDHD would normally cause me to have a harder time learning than some of the students, but she adapted the theory and the practical in a way that helped me understand and I feel so grateful for the intensive course which once completed, made me feel ready to continue my tattoo journey safely and professionally. I made friends for life with other tattooist , which is rare. And appreciate the lifelong support I'll receive from new friends and the Academy. I would add more stars than 5 if I could because they helped me achieve a lifelong dream of becoming a tattoo artist. “I had a luxury pedicure done and it was the best thing I ever decided to do. The treatment itself was so relaxing and she was so nice to talk to. She made sure every inch of my foot was super smooth. My feet look brighter, healthier and my nails are pristine. Can’t thank her enough for the job she did. I will definitely be going again and recommend anyone needing a pedicure.”

“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“We had our kitchen fully remodelled by Moorgate Kitchens. Amy designed it and listened to all our needs. We were very delighted with the design. Amy managed the project really well and was always a phone call away whenever we had any concerns. All the works were carried out on time and deliveries were prompt too. Darren fitted our kitchen and we are very pleased with his work. All the tradesmen were very punctual and polite. We would highly recommend Moorgate Kitchens! Thanks from Mr & Mrs Mehmood.”

“I’ve been going to Roma since 1999. That makes me feel oldddd, but other than the building becoming a part of Morrisons all those years ago, nothing else has changed. That’s a great thing. Superb coffee, great service, lovely staff, high quality deli produce and products, and the Tonno Bianco pizza is still my favourite pizza of all time. I’d always highly recommend this fantastic deli/cafe”

“Definitely the biggest (pun intended) oversized menswear store in the North. The staff were lovely, very patient and helped me find exactly what I wanted. The selection is huge and the prices are very fair for the high quality on offer here. They can also change the clothes to fit you perfectly if needed.”

“I've recently taken some rings in to be valued for insurance purposes. I'm a repeat customer there as it's been three years since they were last valued. As ever, they were great value for money, much cheaper than the other chain store jewellery companies in Bury, and the staff are lovely to deal with. They rang me a couple of times to keep me informed about when I could pick them up—fantastic independent store. Shop local!”

“We have ordered breakfast for delivery from here a number of times now and I can honestly say it’s the best we’ve had in a long time, every single time we haven’t been disappointed. Food is piping hot when it arrives and is beautifully presented you can tell the staff take pride in their food and service. The little touches make such a difference and the staff write little messages on the boxes and receipts saying thank you, or enjoy etc. Will definitely be visiting in person at some point.”

“Enjoyed my visit here. It's fairly pricey, but (as you can see from the photos) the portions are pretty generous and the good is delicious. I had the ham/pineapple pizza, with the caramelised pineapple being a particular highlight. The truffle fries were also tasty. Worth a visit, a lovely addition to Prestwich.”

“Great big neon signs to attract your attention. We ordered online (no honestly we were on the tram back from Bury) and collected our order when we got off at Heaton Park. Friendly staff and everywhere is clean, theres a few stools in the waiting area. We ordered 2 burgers, chips, cheesy chips and onion rings. When we got home the burgers were wrapped in foil and then greeseproof paper so they were still hot and fresh. The sauce is a little too hot for us but still very nice, onion rings were crispy as were the chips.”

“It’s been a year with this salon and always providing good hair and skin treatment and suggestion. Shiva always dealt with me as visited for skin care, she suggested micro needling, hydra facial and some effective injectable vitamins. I went for micro needling and vitamin C it’s effective for my skin condition as I have dark spot and hyperpigmentation. Good services and impressive results. I prefer as it’s local to me and they always offer good prices for me. 100%❤️”
