“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”

“A truly wonderful place for an authentic Italian meal and fabulous atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Although there are a few Domus Italia or Casa Italia restaurants in Manchester the Didsbury one does not feel like it part of a chain of faceless restaurants. It has a family run vibe and individual atmosphere. It's not a big place but that makes it so much nicer.”

“Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. “This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”

“I went to the cinema to watch a live National Theatre Production. The cinema was very organised. I went straight to the screen and waited for the show. As it was live, everyone made it to their seat before the start. The performance was excellent and I will be returning to watch another show. Living in Manchester I’m not going to travel to London for these shows. What a great opportunity to see real theatre. I loved it.”

“Great experience overall! Very friendly service and great ambience. The food is also good. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but I have to admit that Gusto exceeded my expectations; food was actually quite decent. We went for lunch on a Saturday, 3 people. We sat on the outdoor area, which is very cute and spacious - ideal for those with baby prams like us!. We tried pasta carbonara, roasted vegetables salad, and the burger. We also had some starters. Everything was tasty and very well presented.”

“Haven’t been here for a good few years. Used to go regularly but got bored of the flavours and prices went up. Went today as we were craving for authentic halal Chinese food. The food was amazing. From the squid to the prawn balls. The egg fried was nice. The best had to be the roast duck in black bean sauce. The flavours were deliges and the duck tasted good. The complimentary prawn crackers were a good touch. Will be definitely coming here again soon.”

“So I called here as I needed delivery and was so in the mood for a curry. Knutford doesn't really deliver and the one nice restaurant that does was so busy as closed due to refurbishment. So I thought if try here. I'm so glad I did, the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and helped me pick the best curry based upon the description I gave of what I wanted. I'm out of the catchment area so paid more for delivery and I would again because the food was so delicious and I haven't got 1 thing to complain about, and I complain about anything that's anything but perfect! “I’ve tried Aroma a few times - the food is delicious, fresh and always served piping hot. I tried the tandoori mixed grill, garlic naan, biryani and chicken jalfrezi which were fresh and full of flavour. Portion sizes are always very generous too. Customer service is brilliant and the staff are friendly and always take time to listen to my order carefully. One of the best curries I’ve had and the price is decent too - why go anywhere else? Aroma Wilmslow is now my go to place when I want Indian food. Seriously give it a try - you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“Lovely hotel, top notch leisure facilities. Rooms could be a bit larger (king size bed but not a lot of room after that), and wine pricy at the bar.
