“Our wedding at the Bellavista was perfect!! I would personally like to thank Gemma the wedding planner who from the initial meet to final moments on the day has been brilliant. She was always there to answer any questions and always replied promptly. Gemma recommended the best suppliers to work with and organised everything perfectly. The wedding was 2 days ago and people are still talking about how good the food was, the canapés were a great hit and the Italian buffet was gorgeous. Everything ran smoothly throughout the day and we couldn’t have asked for more.”

“More recent visit: My partner and I visited Verona midweek and had a wonderful time. We were both spoiled for choice with all the amazing sounding dishes on the menu. The man who owns the restaurant is very friendly with a great sense of humour. It was a nice touch when he came over to take our order. There aren't many tables so I'd recommend booking in advance as it always seems busy, and I can see why! Took my mother for Mother's Day. Phoned up on the day and they were able to fit us in at prime time immediately. Food was served quickly and tasted great for a very reasonable price. Would definitely go again.”

“We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday and were greeted so warmly by the host/manager. We have been a few times to this restaurant and the bar staff recognised us which was so lovely, recognition from staff goes a long way and made us feel so warm and welcome! Drinks arrived so quickly and he even remembered what we had last time we visited which was incredible service from him. The cocktails didn’t disappoint. The service was unbelievable, at no point did we have to ask for drinks order or food order to be taken. They’re incredibly attentive here. The food is artwork, it is so fresh and home made which is exactly what you want in a lovely independent restaurant. The lighting was perfect and the music fitted the restaurant aesthetic and the time of day we arrived. I can’t fault this place whatsoever, can’t recommend it enough.”

“This is such a great spot for brunch or a drink, relaxed atmosphere downstairs and there's an upstairs and outside seating available. I have the veggie breakfast and I was skeptical at how good broccoli would be on an 11am meal but I didn't need to be! This breakfast delivered. The broccoli, the hummus the Potatoes each bit was tastier then the last!”

“We had the 5 course tasting menu and as soon as we had the first course, instantly regretted not having the 12 course. Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic, we luckily sat at a table right next to the kitchen and was incredible to see the chefs at work. “It’s hard to not get too over excited but we had a family meal here last night celebrating 2 birthdays - 27th & 25th and we experienced some of the best food I’ve eaten in a while. The vibe in the place was perfect, nice subtle music in the background with a buzz in the restaurant. I wasn’t sure about Japanese and Mexican mix but wow it worked. Small plate dining but we were very food satisfied by the end - no one could eat anymore. The 9 course experience was exceptional and allowed you to try dishes you would never order but were first class. I have to call out a few - 1. calamari - oh wow - this is simple to cook but so many get it wrong, here it was amazing 2. The stone bass - incredible dish cooked superbly well 3. But the deserts came …. Caused arguments on our table as we couldn’t decided what was nicer the crème brûlée or cheesecake - sensational. The service was exceptional and we were looked after by Mira who was a buzz of positive energy and a great host. Our table connected with the sommiler who gave us the best Cloudy Bay I’ve had and the general manager was an amazing guy who ensured we were fully looked after all evening. An absolute first class experience - I could not recommend this place anymore.”

“I went to this restaurant which was a very nice place to dine. I had the lamb casserole which was delicious and was served with rice and side salad with a nice glaze over the top. Besides the top notch food, the lovely server, Youssef, was very friendly, served with a smile and was happy to help with all enquiries. A nice place to eat, the only downside was due to attending on a weekday night, there was not much of a customer atmosphere. There was a nice background music playing and the restaurant was very well lit with some lovely wall decor. 9/10 would recommend and will be re-attending”

We ordered kebda, lamb mandi, chicken mandi, and waraq inab. The kebda was honestly the best I’ve ever had in the UK — the sauce was unique and full of flavor. The lamb mandi was delicious, with soft, tender meat and rich taste. We didn’t get a chance to try the chicken because the portions were very generous — each dish was more than enough for one person, and we were already full! Ayoub was kind, professional, and very helpful. He even gave us two extra tiramisu boxes for my girls for free as gift — such a lovely gesture! The restaurant’s design also stood out — it offers full privacy so you can enjoy your food in peace. The Arabic majlis-style seating and traditional decor created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We will absolutely come back to this restaurant. Total payment: £35 for everything. Hygiene: Excellent!”

We had so much lovely food to eat and despite having to take our own bottle of wine in there, it was only £24 each including tip. Will definitely go again.”

“Outstanding pub. Situated a twenty minute walk, depending on fitness, from Kearsley train station. Walk is downhill there but obviously uphill back. Easily accessable from Farnworth by bus. Child and dog friendly. Lovely country pub decor, with a main room and little quieter nooks at the front. Bar is small so there will probably be queueing. Said to be one of the top five pubs in Bolton area and I heartily agree. I had a wonderful chilly con carnie and my wife had the cheese and onion pie, she said it was the best homemade cheese and onion pie shes ever had in a pub, amazing chef & staff and we should know because weve been in quite afew. Car park and beer garden at the back. Beautiful setting”

The food was beautifully served and tasted wonderful, and everything was presented with such care. It’s such a cosy spot to unwind and enjoy great service. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!”
