“Having not owned a hot tub before it was a big decision for us to make the purchase and we had LOTS of questions. So happy we chose hot tubs direct, all the people we have dealt with have been friendly and knowledgeable, the tub was ordered and delivered in the specified time period, we needed a crane to lift the tub over the house, hot tubs direct arranged everything. Even after purchase they are always on hand to answer any questions, Chloe especially deserves our thanks as she is always happy to help. We found the price very fair and the maintenance plan offered also looks to be great value (not had to use it yet and hopefully don’t have to apart from service). Overall we are really happy with the hot tub and massively impressed by the service received, can’t fault them.”

“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“I've been sending my children to Mulberry Bush (Dumers Lane) since 2018 and I'd never consider another nursery. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming, they form such a personal bond with the children. I feel happy and comfortable that they are there for my children whilst im work to give them many experiences (and cuddles!) When my 3rd child came along there was no question that I would also be sending him to Mulberry. They have external agencies come in to teach them languages, see different animals and even visits from the emergency services. They are outstanding in every area especially with safeguarding.”

There are enough estate agents to chose from in Prestwich - I opted for Clive Anthony to sell my property as they came across honest, were available evenings and weekends including Sunday (which is when I am available but more importantly I am sure that's when most buyers are too) & they were competitively priced. From the outset they have been excellent. I was spending most of my time working away and being able to leave them to arrange and host viewings was perfect & I was very glad I did not opt for a cheaper online equivalent (Note to others who are considering online estate agents : do you really have the time / inclination to do it justice). Will definitely be going back - the prices for two with two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine just over £60 - absolute value for money and so reasonable.”

“I really like this cafe. Great breakfast and though recently increased in price, still excellent value for money. Egg, two sausages/bacon, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, tea/,coffee, toast or fried bread. Well cooked and nicely presented. Service is also quick and the ladies friendly. I have to go to Bury now and again and see the Coffee House as a real treat. Highly recommend.”
