“We went here yesterday and was told they are closing with immediate effect and that we were the last ever customers. This News absolutely devastated us but they went out with a bang. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was second to none. They were open nearly 40 years and I really hope they make a return :( long life aladdin”

“Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.”

“Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. “Wow what can i say we had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and it really was the perfect venue. Lucy was amazing and really helpful during the planning and on the day everything went exactly as it should all the staff were amazing on the day! jake was so helpful the night before accomadating a big party for food and was amazing on the wedding day too. John our master of ceromonies was fabulous too. All guests commented on how lovely there room was. We used the Delamere suite to get ready and for our wedding night and it was perfect. “Haven’t been here for a good few years. Used to go regularly but got bored of the flavours and prices went up. Went today as we were craving for authentic halal Chinese food. The food was amazing. From the squid to the prawn balls. The egg fried was nice. The best had to be the roast duck in black bean sauce. The flavours were deliges and the duck tasted good. The complimentary prawn crackers were a good touch. Will be definitely coming here again soon.”

“Came here for some food after a night out and the food was really great. Had some work going on so the place looks a bit messy but still the food is great. Freshly cooked so not super quick but worth it. Price is fair too. Will be back soon for sure”

“So I called here as I needed delivery and was so in the mood for a curry. Knutford doesn't really deliver and the one nice restaurant that does was so busy as closed due to refurbishment. So I thought if try here. I'm so glad I did, the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and helped me pick the best curry based upon the description I gave of what I wanted. I'm out of the catchment area so paid more for delivery and I would again because the food was so delicious and I haven't got 1 thing to complain about, and I complain about anything that's anything but perfect! “I’ve tried Aroma a few times - the food is delicious, fresh and always served piping hot. I tried the tandoori mixed grill, garlic naan, biryani and chicken jalfrezi which were fresh and full of flavour. Portion sizes are always very generous too. Customer service is brilliant and the staff are friendly and always take time to listen to my order carefully. One of the best curries I’ve had and the price is decent too - why go anywhere else? Aroma Wilmslow is now my go to place when I want Indian food. Seriously give it a try - you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“Visited today to try steak and eggs. The best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Melt in your mouth steak and the chimchuri was spot on. Husband enjoyed the orange juice, recommended from Jordan, and said the halal breakfast hit the spot without feeling too heavy. Apart from the excellent food, Jordan delivered exceptional customer service. He talked with a smile and looked after us from beginning to end. It was refreshing to see such great service.”
