“Beautiful flowers. We were having a hit of a nightmare after a online company delivered us some awful, damaged flowers. We popped in hoping that a bouquet could be made for the next day and the lovely lady jotted down what we would like and told us to come back at 3. We were greeted with the loveliest bunch of flowers on our return and I will only be using Sunnybank flowers from now on.”

“Been here 4 times and thoroughly enjoyed every visit. This is a really well- run restaurant and nicely appointed, creating a really pleasant environment to catch up over the well presented and really tasty food and well- chosen wine list. The steak, carbonara and lamb are all just delightful. Not the cheapest, but thoroughly worth it. I'll be returning regularly.”

“Working my way through the extensive and varied menu. Pizzeria Bella Italia never disappoints. Even if you can't eat pasta there is something for everyone. My favourite starter is their garlic mushrooms....omg so divine!!! Who'd of thought how delicious the humble mushroom can be when cooked the way Bella does. I can't fault the food, quality, staff, atmosphere and magic of this lovely restaurant in Bury. It is popular with all age groups and families as well as couples. I had mussels in garlic and white wine. The veg is al dente and beautiful. I always look forward to dining here as the food and staff make you feel at home and always welcoming.”

I have to go to Bury now and again and see the Coffee House as a real treat. Highly recommend.”

“Amazing choice of Eastern European foods with a huge array of cooked and cured meats along with great looking fresh veg along with all the groceries you can think of and more. It's a treasure trove of interesting foods. Staff are really helpful and friendly, always ready to guide you. Lots of Vodkas and other beverages at a great price.”

“After trying 2 other shops, I took a bracelet into this jewellers which I wanted extending for my sons 16th. It is a family heirloom and very special. The two previous shops had said categorically nothing could be done, so I gave it one last try here. The ladies were unbelievably helpful and caring, understanding why it was important to get this bracelet extended and keep it in the family. They came up with an amazing solution and had it sent away, extended and back within a week. All this at a fantastic cost. In short, this jewellers go the extra mile to help their customers. I can't speak highly enough of them- Thankyou!”

“More recent visit: My partner and I visited Verona midweek and had a wonderful time. We were both spoiled for choice with all the amazing sounding dishes on the menu. The man who owns the restaurant is very friendly with a great sense of humour. It was a nice touch when he came over to take our order. There aren't many tables so I'd recommend booking in advance as it always seems busy, and I can see why! Took my mother for Mother's Day. Phoned up on the day and they were able to fit us in at prime time immediately. Food was served quickly and tasted great for a very reasonable price. Would definitely go again.”

“We have taken the kids a few times and more recently attended a Peppa Pig party to celebrate my son and daughters 3rd birthday. The place it's self is a little small but has a lot to offer we particularly like it because of the sensory room which offers a clam environment for my son. The twins also enjoyed the interactive room and the main soft play area which is great for young children. The food in the cafe is very nice offers both hot and cold food. Great place, great people and would highly recommend”

It felt welcoming and well cared for, and I had an undisturbed, peaceful sleep. Great value for money too. The food was another highlight. I ordered the gammon steak, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious – generous portion, nicely presented, and full of flavour. The overall atmosphere was warm and friendly, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.”

“Absolutely beautiful park. Very special place for me since the 1960s. Visited for the first time since the late 70s/early 80s since moving out of the area. Heartbreaking what's happened to the buildings and beautiful conservatory etc but so wonderful to see what the various volunteer groups are achieving there, above all giving the Park love and TLC.
