From Becky, the manager, to each and every one of my son's key workers throughout the three years he has been there (Kirsty, Nicola, Emy, Alicia, Lizzie, Amy, Elena), I have always felt he is in the safest hands. Every member of staff is just the loveliest - they put tonnes of effort into the activities they plan, and parents are kept up to date with progress and pictures. Nothing is ever too much, even when I call up in the middle of the day because "he just seemed a bit sad this morning and I wanted to check whether he's cheered up and now having a good day!". They don't just give it lip service, they keep me on the line as they go to check on him, and will pass me on to his key worker if a bigger update is needed. Any time he's had a bump or fall (he's a kid, it's going to happen!), it's been recorded, and I've had a detailed account of exactly how it came about - which ALWAYS matches up to my son's description of the event, too. I really do love all the staff here, they provide a really personal touch which makes the world of difference. And to have your kid come home and say their key worker is their BEST FRIEND is the most heartwarming thing ever. He feels safe, and so do I.”

“I recently had Bury jet wash out to clean and re sand my blocked paved driveway which was full of weeds and looked a mess. They are so easy to deal with and the driveway now looks like new. All the mess it created was cleaned away and they even cleaned up the weeds around my walls on the pavement side.”

I've been taking mine and my wife's cars to them for a couple of years now for MOTs, servicing and the odd repair (suspension springs & exhaust silencer) and I'm always very happy with the service received. “Having not owned a hot tub before it was a big decision for us to make the purchase and we had LOTS of questions. So happy we chose hot tubs direct, all the people we have dealt with have been friendly and knowledgeable, the tub was ordered and delivered in the specified time period, we needed a crane to lift the tub over the house, hot tubs direct arranged everything. Even after purchase they are always on hand to answer any questions, Chloe especially deserves our thanks as she is always happy to help. We found the price very fair and the maintenance plan offered also looks to be great value (not had to use it yet and hopefully don’t have to apart from service). Overall we are really happy with the hot tub and massively impressed by the service received, can’t fault them.”

“Stayed at the bury premier in for 1 night. Good location and rooms clean and a very good nights sleep. I are evening meal and breakfast which was absolutely lovely and very high quality. Reception and evening staff polite and helpful and I enjoyed my little chat to the breakfast ladies who again were polite and helpful. Restaurant was clean and food fabulous x thanks for making my stay fantastic.”

“Ami Gibbs was amazing with me in the gym. I applied for a free day pass online and came into the gym and Ami showed me around the facilities. She was super helpful and friendly and made me really comfortable and the gym and pool area was amazing. Will definitely be looking to join once I’m back from travelling.”

“A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location. I was looking for a proper holiday location within close driving distance of Tameside and Manchester, Christie's hospital in order to look after an elderly relative. I looked for a proper hotel with a dining room, a bar proper cooked food and somewhere dog friendly. I could not have found anywhere better. My elderly step-mum needed modified meals; small portions and easy-to-swallow foods. The chef and all the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was catered for - room service was no trouble. Only wish I'd had time to enjoy The Stables. I'll definitely be back.”

“Highly recommended. Have a gold twisted rope necklace which has 2 strings of white gold balls wrapping around it. One of these strings had come adrift, not for the first time. Went to 2 high street jewellers on the rock who said could not be repaired despite one of them having repaired it previously. Found this place on the Wed, said no problem and had it repaired by Friday. Not only that the cost was a third of what the high street jeweller had previously charged me”
