“Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! I will be recommending Katie and Maids of Cheshire to all my friends and family.”

“We moved to the area around a year ago and our estate agent told us to go here for dinner to celebrate. We didn't get round to it then, but we should've! We came with a group and tried every dish on the menu. There honestly wasn't one average dish, they were all perfectly cooked, creative and beautifully presented. We asked everyone around the table which was their favourite dish and got back at least 6 different answers, so there really is something for everyone. Price wise, I think it's very reasonable. We walked out stuffed, and had wine and desserts for £50/per person roughly.”

“If you're looking for a delightful little coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further, The North Coffee Shop is owned by John who has many years of experience and makes mouth watering food, he is incredibly friendly and has created a wonderful warm and inviting atmosphere, there is something for everyone and all made with love by John himself. He runs Greek nights also and the dishes are fantastic, with loads of variety. I would highly recommend anyone to drop in and sample some of John's tasty treats, you won't be disappointed xx”

“Jasanmol was lovely, I had a brow wax and tint very last minute and she was able to fit me in. She talked me through the process and then always asked if it was ok before she applied the wax/ tint. We had a lovely chat too!”

“Had my nails done here, the lady was lovely and friendly, she even had her dog with her (if you are scared of dogs the dog can go in play pen but i personally loved the dog cuddles) and my nails look fabulous. Got different shades of purples and pinks and my nails are colour changing too which is super cool. Thank you”

They are always happy to chat and offer hints and suggestions which are suited to you as an individual. “After three or four visits, Staly Barbers is now my barber shop of choice. This place is an absolute gem of a place where you can be assured of a fantastic haircut. On each occasion I’ve visited, I’ve left feeling clean, refreshed and totally happy with my cut. Bewar is an absolute perfectionist and obviously loves his work. “Had a lovely, relaxing trip on the Judith Mary Canal boat today, from Whaley Bridge travelling along the High Peak Canal,which was very enjoyable.The Atmosphere aboard the boat was great, it was decorated out for Christmas, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, working very hard to make sure everyone was happy. We had a Christmas meal, which consisted of a Turkey batch, roast potatoes, pig in blanket and a stuffing ball, served with gravy and cranberry sauce, followed by a very tasty warm mince pie and fresh thick double cream.(included in price) You can have an alternative menu for dietary requirements arranged when booking. There is a well stocked bar on the barge, serving beers, lagers, cider,wines, and spirits, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and speciality coffees, all at reasonable prices. There are toilets on board, which are clean. The trip lasts roughly 2 hours, but to be honest, time went so quickly. hardly noticed . Trip turns around at some point during the cruise, so you end back up at Whaley Bridge.”

“I used Carol for the first time for some MFR for running related pain / injuries. She was brilliant, the treatment was so relaxing and not painful at all like other treatments I’ve tried. After month or so on, I’m still running pain free and with her advice I now know what I can do to relieve any soreness during longer runs. Would deffo recommend Carol!”

“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“Recently moved into Anaconda, we dealt with Elle Jones from start to finish and she made it really easy. Always available to answer any questions and she provided a lot of information and photos etc about the apartment we were taking. Would absolutely recommend this building to anyone moving!”

“Great little cinema which is made especially enjoyable by the little introduction that the staff do on each film, giving a little insight into how it was made, or other films the director has made. The place is welcoming to everyone, and when my partner and I went to watch The Handmaiden, there were a wide variety of people in the audience, which is always good to see.”

“Absolutely fabulous night watching the production of 'Dad's Army'. Characters were so true to TV adaptation. Singing WW2 songs in the audience really added to the ambience.”

“We visited last weekend with family and friends for a birthday meal and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt genuinely welcomed – and that was entirely thanks to our waitress Nicole( I believe that was her name). She greeted us with the kind of warm, natural smile that instantly makes you feel like you’ve chosen the right place for dinner. Nicole’s service was impeccable from start to finish. She struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering, somehow anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Water glasses never dipped below half, orders were double-checked for accuracy. What impressed me most was Nicole’s genuine enthusiasm for the menu. She offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes and described each dish with detail – and she was spot-on every time. It’s clear she knows and loves the food here, and that passion is contagious. Beyond the technical side of service, Nicole made the evening memorable with her personable nature. She engaged with us in a way that felt friendly and sincere, not scripted. By the end of the night, we felt less like customers and more like welcomed guests. If you visit, you’re in for a treat no matter what you order – but if you’re lucky enough to have Nicole as your server, you’re guaranteed a truly exceptional dining experience. We’ll absolutely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for her by name.”
