“What an absolutely brilliant traditional pub. Saturday afternoon and the place was rammed full with drinkers, diners and pre football tipplers. The country used to be full of these gems but corporate greed has trashed so many. The staff were fantastic and individual. Go and spend a few hours in this treasure.”

“I attended my first ever Hollywood wax today and was recommend beauty and bubbles by a friend who has been going for years. I was incredibly nervous. The staff made sure I was Welcomed. I had my wax with haley. And I could not reccomend her enough! She was so kind,professional and catered to me even though I was nervous she made me feel at ease and gave me a pain free wax. “We have got used to the Sunday roast here, a quality of food and presentation far exceeding a pub meal. So last night we joined friends for a Christmas dinner. A full traditional Christmas meal was presented, thick slices of turkey, pigs in blankets, toasties, parsnips, carrots and a smooth dark gravy. This was a Christmas dinner to remember, absolutely spot on. Many thanks.”

“Visited Romulus last night for the first time and the food was absolutely beautiful.. the nicest Italian I have ever had. I had the minestrone soup which was delicious followed by pan fried breaded chicken with tomato spaghetti on the side and my god it was to die for… also this was on the set menu 2 courses I think it was like £19 each…The staff are so nice they can’t do enough for you and also really funny. We had a ball in there last night. Will defo be back. Can’t recommend enough.”

“Visited here today and had a great meal. The Gurkha beer is really nice, I told myself I'd only have one as they're 660ml but I ended up having 2 as they were so good. Ended up having the mixed main as a starter but if I went again I'd just have several portions of the lamb chops, the rest of the meat was very nice (quite spicy for anyone worried about spice) but the lamb chops were amazing. Had the duck masala main and the lamb Gurkha curry, would highly recommend the Gurkha Curry it was fantastic, the duck was nice it's different than most Curries so if you want something more aromatic it's something to try. Bread was nice, poppadoms nice and the chutneys were good too. Between 2 of us spent £77 but had separate sides, rice's and effectively 3 main courses and a couple of beers/soft drinks so I'd say it was good value for the quality and quantity of meat. Give it a try, you won't regret it.”

“I came here for my 30th birthday. The staff were so attentive and friendly, they honestly can not do much more for you here they are lovely. All the food was just gorgeous and fresh! Especially the chicken bhuna , lamb khari and biriyani. In fact it was all so nice including the starters and even the chutney tray with poppadoms , I’m making my self hungry thinking of it all. Thank you for a wonderful day and we can’t wait to come back! Even my kids enjoyed it. If I could more stars I would :)”

The monk fish as the main was recommended by Ricardo was perfect! Will definitely be going back - the prices for two with two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine just over £60 - absolute value for money and so reasonable.”
