“I visited Sharon at Cheadle Holistic Therapies after experiencing soreness in my lower back during a short visit to Manchester from London. I haven't felt so relaxed since before I was born! Sharon provides a very tranquil environment where you can truly unwind which, for someone like me born with a spring for a backbone, isn't easy! The back, neck and shoulder massage was perfectly tailored to my needs after an initial consultation. Sharon also welcomes feedback during the therapy session to optimise attention in the areas most affected. This really made it effective and the calming music only added to the sense of escapism. It was only towards the end of the visit that I realised that the sound of birdsong did not resonate from the soothing music but from the gardens outside. A truly superior surround sound experience! I have experienced many massage therapies over the years but I can confidentially recommend a visit here if you want to leave feeling entirely rejuvenated and experience what I feel was the most effective treatment I've enjoyed in memory. Prof Grey's secretary, Nicola, was tremendous: always approachable and very efficient; often a detailed letter summarising our discussions and next steps would have popped up in our email by the time we had arrived home from our consultation. From the lovely reception you receive booking on the telephone to the return journey home the atmosphere is one of enjoyment and safety. “Our pug was urgently treated at Woodcroft for an ulcer on his cornea. The care from the staff was fantastic from the reception team, the nurses and the brilliant surgeon Alistair. Hopefully we are at the end of the treatment but I cannot recommend highly enough, every one at the hospital, pets are truly part of the family and watching what our Reggie has gone through is distressing, without Woodcroft it could have been so much worse.
