“The staff are always so lovely and helpful. Some of the best burritos in Ireland and the decor is perfect, cosy and fun”
“Very tasty food. Reasonable price. Friendly helpful service. Nice decor.”
“Excellent small and friendly cafe. Fires always lit in colder months which is great! Awesome selection of high quality food and drinks available.”
“Lovely little spot for breakfast or lunch. I tried one of the savoury crepes and it was great! Lots of cheese, nicely balanced ingredients, nice texture and colour of the crepe and a very big feed. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back to try some other things :)”
“I dined at the Homeland on 2 October 2024. I was greeted with a smiling face. I had the Slimmer and it was delicious. I'm so glad I stopped. Do yourself a favor and dine here.”
“First visit to this café upon a brief stop in Newry. Great experience, with lots of choice and delicious results and now in my top 2 of favourite boba cafés I've tried. The staff provided a warm welcome to this cosy and relaxed spot. It was notable to see staff treat a large group of young people with equal warmth, respect and patience upon taking their time to order. This is how it should be done and I look forward to visiting again, thank you!”
“Lovely for a breakfast. would definitely use again. Lady serving was really friendly too. Great service”
“Great atmosphere, reasonably priced.”
“Always a good experience. Good food, great service. Went in for a cocktail and wasn't disappointed.”
“Great chip shop. Big portions all freshly made. Downside......cash only and minute portion of curry sauce.”
“Sensory party. Just had my 10 year old boys party with all his friends in cheeky monkeys. It was a sensory party - and was the most relaxed party I have ever attended. It was fantastic! Mary and the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. Would highly recommend this for anyone with kids who need a party in a quiet and relaxed environment! Thank you Mary Campbell and all at cheeky monkeys!!”
“We had an amazing lunch at the Beachcomber cafe. To be honest we were expecting fish n chips and burgers but that’s not what we had. Chicken curry, curried cauliflower soup and honey chilli prawns. Fabulous food. Highly recommended. Maybe try to expand the vegetarian options.”
“I recently visited Leafy Greens and had an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. If you're looking for flavorful, fresh vegetarian food served with genuine warmth, this is your place. We ordered a salad and a dessert, and both were spectacular. The salad was truly delicious—far from basic, featuring vibrant, fresh ingredients that were perfectly balanced. But the real star, flavor-wise, was the presentation and taste of the meal as a whole. Everything was plated beautifully, looking like a work of art, and the flavors were excellent—a testament to the kitchen's commitment to quality. The dessert was the perfect, indulgent finish. Beyond the incredible food, the staff was super friendly and attentive. We felt genuinely welcomed the moment we walked in. Best of all, the food was served incredibly quickly, despite the high quality and detailed presentation. It's rare to find a place that excels in every area—food quality, presentation, speed, and service—but [Restaurant Name] nails it. Highly, highly recommended for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike!”
“A real old fashioned Irish pub with great history which makes for brilliant atmosphere and good crack, there's even claims that its the oldest pub in Ireland. It also holds Whiskey tasting from local distilleries which must be book in advance due to its demand. Highly recommend this wee pub.”
“Great coffee and homemade tray bakes. Excellent customer service. Love popping in here for a treat.”
“Very yummy food brought out by a very pleasant staff. Ordered a smashed avocado with an extra egg during my lunch break and it came out quickly despite the lafge number of customers. I was also able to take it away which was extremly handy. Couldn't reccomend more.”
“Best coffee in newry. Staff always very friendly.”
“Great local butcher and restaurant. Fabulous choice of takeaway ready meals to simply pop in the oven. I can recommend their steak pie and lasagne. .”
“The food was absolutely unbelievable, they were very accommodating and the service was even better the bloke in there was so nice and helpful, had the time to stop and chat to us. Can’t fault this place”
“Have been visiting this place a few times and wanted to review it to say thank you for a consistent excellent service and tasty fresh food along with a good coffee. Every time I visit this place, whether I am on my own or with a friend, I have always experienced excellent customer service and quality foods. They have an original menu, with plenty of healthy options, and the waiter, I guess the owner, will be more than happy to help out to choose and explain the differences between the options. And they play good wibe music too.”
“Great spot for food and a glass of wine”
“What a delightful place. Old world tea rooms with modern food. The decor was beautiful. The staff were so lovely. Only fault.......just the one toilet”

“I was at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday after a day hiking in the Mourne Mountains. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. For starters we had the Carlingford crab claws with tiger prawns and goats cheese pannacotta (pics attached). As mains we had the 10oz fillet steak with parmesan and truffle fries (no pics). It was a lot of food in the end, and we had trouble finishing it, and had no room for dessert. We will definitely come back when in Newry or this area. Highly recommend!”
“The choice, quality and presentation of meals, prepared by the obviously talented chefs, is above compare, and aligned with exceptional value for money, and the impeccable service and consideration of the waiting staff, makes dining in Raymie's an absolute delight. Special thanks to Niamh and the rest of her colleagues, who made our New Year's Day trip to Warrenpoint an occasion to be remembered.”
“Beautiful little place to have coffee and cake. Staff very friendly and service is great”
