David is absolutely fantastic and so knowledgeable and helpful for the kids and adults alike. Every time we go the kids are ready to go again. “Decent entertainment centre with good size play area full of adventures for children. Unfortunately I didn’t take photos of the playground as I don’t want to capture other children. My child had fun playing here with his friend. We had lunch at the main restaurant, I had fish and chips. It was ok ish. I can’t comment on other menu. Overall, it’s a nice entertainment centre perfect for a family days out.”

“Sensory party. Just had my 10 year old boys party with all his friends in cheeky monkeys. It was a sensory party - and was the most relaxed party I have ever attended. It was fantastic! Mary and the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. Would highly recommend this for anyone with kids who need a party in a quiet and relaxed environment! “We booked Escape HQ for a work outing/team building activity and had a brilliant experience working with them start to finish. They were professional and responsive in the planning stages and on the day they looked after us and gave us a great time. Our group was 35 people of various ages and nationalities and everyone is still talking about the craic. Thanks David and Conor and the rest of the guys at Escape HQ!”

“I was in Rostrevor visiting my mother & aunt and happened upon this spot while searching google. It's a really charming little bed & breakfast - the host was very accommodating, the room + bathroom were spotlessly clean and superbly comfortable. Beautiful views of the beach and a great night's sleep too. Will definitely stay here again in the future!”

“A perfect night away. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was lovely . We had a delicious meal with an incredible evening view of Carlingford lough. We have enjoyed meals here before but so glad we decided to stay the night too. Breakfast was great and again staff were chatty and helpful. We will definitely return for another relaxed stay.”

“This is one of the most beautiful B&Bs we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Immaculately clean; top quality homemade cooking; gorgeous light and modern rooms with comfortable beds. The view of the Carlingford Lough and Slieve Martin from our balcony is just stunning! Like a fairytale storybook view and right on the doorstep of the famous enchanting trails of Kilbroney Park. The house itself is overlooking a beautiful manicured garden square surrounded by gorgeous Victorian style town houses. The private gardens of the B&B are just beautiful and exquisite, we enjoyed a lovely cappuccino and home cooked Irish breakfast in the sun trap of the conservatory (even in January!!), overlooking the boats floating on the Misty winter subbed Lough. The village of Rostrevor is like a mystical land of it’s own with traditional music in cosy pubs every night; gift shops; art boutiques; artists; writers; rich culture and heritage trails as well as festivals all year round. John and Anne are an absolute delight to spend time with. So friendly and feel like family! Anne is a deep spiritual soul; a local woman of many talents who has travelled the world with the famous Sands Folk Band and her work as a painter. John (originally from Dublin) with his background in journalism and as a historical tour guide entertained and delighted us with many interesting tales and anecdotes. We can’t recommend a stay at the Sands B&B enough and would now consider it a home away from home. 5 stars!! A gem of an escape away into a fairytale lane of old ✨”

“We had our daughter’s 8th birthday party here in Saturday with her whole class. It was absolutely amazing! Kids had a ball, food was great, staff are just lovely. I’d recommend it to anyone. Absolutely brilliant day!”
