βI loved the experience! It was amazing at getting my brain working, as soon as I had finished I just wanted to do it again! I still canβt get over how fantastic the set was!! Daniel was our guide and he had lots of enthusiasm and was really bubbly and friendly! It was a great birthday surprise! Iβm going to come again for my birthday next year definitely!!β
βGenuinely one of the most extraordinary escape room experiences Iβve ever had. A huge highlight of the experience was Beth, who accompanied us throughout. She played the role of the maid brilliantly, adding just the right amount of tension, atmosphere, and theatrical flair. Her presence made the whole environment even more unsettling and immersive. Whenever we found ourselves getting stubborn over a particular puzzle, she nudged us in the right direction in a very natural and in-character way, which kept things flowing without breaking the mood. Iwould highly recommend "The Anatomist" to anyone visiting Edinburgh β whether you're an escape room enthusiast or a complete newcomer. Truly outstanding!β
βWe (2 persons) did 221b Baker Street. We loved the experience (we got out with 8 minutes to spare)! It's a great escape room. With a real Sherlock Holmes case to solve. Decoration is well done. Taylor heplt us with the explanation and everything was very clear. Possibly coming back to do some other ones.β
βOur team had a really lovely time! While we were in town we did all six rooms, Ritual, Machina, and Alcatraz were our favorites. The other three were also very enjoyable. The team of game masters we had, Cameron, DJ, Noel, David, Stephan, Rebecca, Eve, Lillie, Bob, and Alex were very kind and helpful. One day they even made us tea while we waited for the room. Each game master set up the back story for us (always choose the backstory! It sets the mood for the room in a fun and interactive way). After each session they offered us great props and a little photo shoot which was fun and goofy. The puzzles come in a variety of ways and follow the theme of the rooms. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back for any new rooms!β
βWe recently brought a group of young adults to Edinburgh Combat Challenge, and it was an amazing experience! Lewis, who led our group, was fantastic β really organised, supportive, and made sure everyone had a great time. He even arranged pizza for the group, which was a lovely touch. A huge thank you to Edinburgh Combat Challenge for supporting the work that Omazs Den does β it truly means a lot to us. Everyone absolutely loved it, and weβll definitely be back. Highly recommend for a fun and energetic day out!β
βGenuinely the best shopping experience I've ever had. Came in for a query about an old amp and how to turn it into a whole setup. I was booked in for a demo the next day with the very knowledgeable, Nathan. He was exactly the right kind of expert for me and was knowledgeable about Hi-Fi and music in general. He had great taste and we compared my records on different set ups. Was a fun hangout talking about speakers and Hi-Fi and what was best for me. Left with a super high quality setup which I'm so happy with. Could not recommend more. Nathan is the man.β
βBrilliant experience and really enjoyable game with lots of different puzzles. Our quiz guide Taylor gave great clues when we appeared to be struggling but not obvious enough to make it easy. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to return to tackle some other rooms in the future.β
βAmazing experience! Really challenging escape room which was really entertaining. Matthew was a great host with timely hints! Weβll be back!β
βTheir staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I always enjoy going there. Fully recommend itβ
βKids had great fun trying to climb the different climbing walls.β
βI had a great experience at Xtreme karting. Very well organized, great equipment and friendly experienced staff. Track is very good across 2 levels. Had a blast.β
βThe Doghouse in Edinburgh never disappoints. Brilliant rooftop bar with a great atmosphere! Tasty menu, good beers, and super friendly staff. Highly recommend!β
βIβve taken 3 kickstarter sessions with Josie and have found them very useful and enjoyable. Josie is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with trying new things in the gym and talking through good goals to work towards. In particular she was great at spotting where my technique needed work and explaining how to change it in an easy to understand way.β
βNice and clean, pub onsite, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Bus stop outside that goes to and from the city centre.β
βInspiring place to go to see the landscape and take photographs, including 'selfies'.. and get your bearings if you forget to take a map of the zoo.β
βYou must stay at this hotel! Not only is the location absolutely perfect, the room is so smartly designed and the beds were so comfortable. The decor was absolutely fantastic as well. Despite its location, the hotel was very quiet. The staff were super wonderful and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for food and drink along with some fun history about Edinburgh (a special shout-out to Martin). Would stay here again 10/10β
βThe team at this tourist info spot are not just friendly but super helpful and full of info about all the cool places to check out in Edinburgh.β
βBought my electric Macan from Steven at Porsche Edinburgh in March, and I couldnβt be happier. The whole process was smooth, professional and genuinely enjoyable. Steven was fantastic, and the service team β especially Gary and Derek β have been brilliant with their support. First-class experience all round. Highly recommend!β
βVery polite staff. Beautiful location Beautiful buildingβ
βGreat experience. Kids eat free deal. Good portion sizes. Children had the pasta and ice cream - polished it all off. I went for the double stack. Well cooked burgers and crispy fries. Booth with a view overlooking the water. Top service. All left happy.β
βwas not a guest at the hotel but came by for dinner at the court, and was perhaps the best meal of my whole time in edinburgh. the staff were all lovely and attentive, without being overbearing. we had the tasting menu, and the food was all so delicious, the wine pairings absolutely perfect. will definitely be back to try the signature dishes. i would recommend highly to stop by on any visit or special occasion, the space is exceptional and the service was top notch. a special shoutout to elena too for taking care of us all night and making our evening so wonderful, she was exceptional all night making all the right touches that gave for the most wonderful time. thank you all, look forward to visiting again soon!β
βI watched Beetlejuice and I was impressed. Not just by the film. The cinema is very posh and beautiful and the staff couldn't be more helpful . I also liked the selection of snacks and drinks. The seats were very comfortable and there was the possibility to lift up your legs. The restrooms were spotless . All in all it was a luxurious experience, especially given it's location.β
βOur second stay at the Ibis Styles St. Andrews Square was just as pleasant our first. The staff was friendly and super helpful, calling a taxi, cleaning up breakfast dishes, guiding our dining choices, etc. The rooms are small but very efficiently appointed. The shower worked well, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed, even fresh milk to go with the water kettle and tea/coffee. Breakfast was wonderful! It offered everything you could possibly need, and we super enjoyed the nice coffee machine for coffee options. The location was excellent for visiting Edinburgh for a couple of days. Taxi rides were not very expensive, and dinner was walkable. I would say the only frustrating thing about the rooms was the lack of any counter space or hooks for placing clothes and toiletries. In our room, instead of a huge sink basin, a small sink basin with surround counter would not have taken up more space but would have been helpful. Also, the last time we stayed, the dΓ©cor involved cheery, fun pinks and greens with thistle images spread across the walls. I can see where maybe a change was desired, but we really did not prefer the Picasso-esque drawings of distorted naked people and even an orgy over the bed in one of the rooms. The dΓ©cor was a change but not an improvement. It seems maybe Ibis is aiming for a different clientele than in previous years. But we would stay again in a heartbeat.β
βAbsolutely deserves 5 stars! I went with my 13 year old brother and it ended up being the most fun activity we did in Edinburgh. We didnβt know what to expect, but the actors were brilliant and really made the experience. Each room was superbly decorated, it felt like stepping onto a movie set. Plenty of laughs with a few great jump scares too. Highly recommend!β
βAs a women, I highly recommend this place! I have never felt uncomfortable and often come by myself to work. Great vibe, best shisha in Scotland, the staff are very friendly and always welcoming, food /desserts are always spot on and the service is excellent. The owner always makes sure you get a good experience. Great place for a night out or to sit and crack on with some work or even to watch the boxing or footy. The ambience is even better since the recent refurbishment! The staff here are really welcoming and look after me. I note that the shisha boys Asif, Daniyal, Sameer and Hammad always keep note of customers shisha preferences and will make their shishas accordingly to their taste using the specific quantity of flavours which makes for a unique experience. I have been in Glasgow for the day and will still come through to Edinburgh Urban Lounge for this very reason as the boys know what I like. Similar, I look forward to coming back to Urban Edinburgh for a shisha when I've been down south. Coal changes are prompt, head changes are prompt, service is impeccable. The front of house staff, Jatin, Amal and Fatima are fabulous! Very caring and attentive in their approach. They know regular customer's orders, will always fo rounds to check if customers need anything and clean up as they do. Their food is on point and comforting.β
βWe hired Edinburgh DJ for our wedding recently. Paul was absolutely brilliant. Quick communication leading up to the day and then the day itself he kept everyone on the dancefloor with banger after banger! We also requested some Bollywood songs which was no issue for Paul. Could not recommend Edinburgh DJ hire enough!β
βI was very lucky to have been given Freddie as my partner and teacher for a Strictly-style charity event, where I had to learn a cha cha that was to be performed in front of 150 people, in a relatively short space of time. Freddie's passion for dance, skill in teaching, confidence in my ability and calm demeanour made the whole experience an amazing one for me. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Freddie and Nuno's dance4passion classes.β
βWe started going to Baby Sensory (Ocean Terminal) when baby was 6 months, and it is with great sadness that we have now aged out (13 months). The sessions are really interactive and take into account the range of ages and developmental stages of the babies. Adele is an amazing facilitator and as my baby became more mobile, he was allowed the just do his thing. I would 100% recommend the class - we went through those 7 months with a couple of mums, so we knew other people. It's a great way to let your baby socialise but also explore.β
βIβve taken my daughter to Moβs baby sensory classes since she was 6 weeks old. As sheβs developed and grown, itβs obvious sheβs getting more and more from the classes each week. Mo puts in so much effort for each class, itβs a lovely experience for everyone. Definitely recommend Moβs baby sensory classes!β
βWe have used Magic Pete at various Kidney Kids Scotland events and he never fails to entertain. His magic is fantastic and he is a true professional. I would highly recommend him. Definitely a 5 star entertainer.β
