“Our first time yaking part in an escape room and we had a brilliant time at the Riddle Rooms. There were 3 of us taking part, one 13 year old and 2 slightly older (!) and were really well looked after by Rose. Pre-game instructions were very clear and the 'support' received from Rose during the game was also very well received. We were in the Time Agent room, which was challenging, and with a few hints and tips we managed to escape with a couple of minutes to spare. Once again, thanks to all of the team at Riddle Rooms, expecially Rose. A great day out.”

“Our wedding DJ was absolutely fantastic and helped make the evening unforgettable. From the first dance to the final song, the music was perfectly chosen to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. He took the time to understand our taste in music beforehand and included all of our song requests, blending them seamlessly with tracks that kept the energy high. “I have recently decided to get back into hi-fi after many years of using streaming devices only I decided I wanted to get back to vinyl and a proper stereo set up for my living room. I went into it blind and was helped immeasurably by Allan, (the owner of Loud & Clear), not only did he provide expert advice but also demonstrated products within my price range, and even although I am just starting out on my journey and did not have a huge budget, I felt he gave me a first rate experience like I was spending a million bucks. It has changed not only my life but my whole family now sit down and enjoy listening to records again which has been a wonderful revelation to us all. Then, when I had a problem a year later, he took in my gear back to the shop, found the fault and then brought me in to the store to hear it all before returning everything and explaining where I had gone wrong, and all with no extra charge, now that's what I call great customer after care. I cannot recommend them enough, no matter your budget, high or low, they are super helpful and have a wealth of knowledge like no other hi-fi shop I've ever encountered. I am now on the road to becoming a rookie audiophile and I know where I'll be shopping every step of the way as I progress, the choice really is... "Loud & Clear"”

“I had my nose piercing done by Megan and it was a very lovely experience! She made sure that the piercing was placed perfectly as I wear glasses and talked through the process start to finish. She has also been so lovely in the healing process to ensure my piercing heals correctly and looks nice!! Couldn’t ask to be pierced by anyone lovelier - I have recommended her to my pals as it’s a calm and clear process compared to previous places I’ve been to :)”

“Great day had by the family at the science centre! Lots of interactive activities to get brains of all ages ticking. Lots of areas in different STEM topics, all of which we enjoyed! On top of the entry tickets, we also booked tickets for the kids planetarium show which came at a small additional charge, but would recommend as it was brilliant.”

“Came here as a kid to watch the Simpson movie when it came out and now I have brought my own kids here as part of the science centre experience to watch “Beautiful Planet” and it was their first experience of 3D which was magical for them. We arrived at early for the screening and the staff were brilliant by directing us to the best seats in the theatre. .. And it’s still got the biggest cinema screen in Scotland.”

“Had a few hours to kill in Glasgow before our train home. The cinema is very cosy and food and drink arrived quickly. The member of staff who served us could not have been more helpful. She stored our suitcases in a locked cupboard and was really kind and helpful.”

“We have had 2 wonderful experiences at Window to the Womb - a scan at 11 weeks for some reassurance after a UTI and then our gender scan at 15+3 weeks. On both occasions, staff have been so lovely, supportive and approachable. I felt extremely comfortable from the minute I walked into the clinic. I had the same sonographer on both occasions and she was amazing - explained everything clearly to us and really made us feel at ease. We got great scan photos too, very clear and exactly what you want to give you the reassurance you need. Would highly recommend Window to the Womb, we can't wait to return for our 4D scan!”

“I stayed as a solo business traveller on the 22 - 24 October and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly the young staff were from the reception desk to the bar and restaurant. They went above and beyond to have a chat, hold my bags, direct me to bus stops. etc. They were genuinely warm and welcoming and made it feel like a four star experience. The bar and lounge area are very comfortable for a business traveller looking to do some work while having a drink or bite to eat. It's a cosy environment and the veggie burger was quite tasty and generous. While the rooms are a bit basic, the bathrooms are well maintained and the friendliness of the staff and downstairs bar area more than made up for that. Only downside for me is a few members of the staff who I don’t find fitting. But overall I am satisfied with my visits all the time. Do not recommend beef tartare, it’s lacking in flavor and serving. “I was astonished by the GMRC. Glasgow stores more than it exhibits. An artist friend of mine was keen to view Ken Currie paintings not on display at the People's Palace. We viewed them on a general tour. However, if we had booked far enough in advance, we were told we could view almost anything we wished to. But, as we booked on the day, we saw several unexpected exhibits Not on exhibition. Eg a zoo's worth of stuffed animals, armour, William Burrell's home's wall fittings, and much more. All in 1 hour. The guides were fab. An additional Glasgow museum could easily be founded exhibiting the items in store. A fine, splendid afternoon.”
