“What an amazing place. The place was brilliant from start to finish. The service was excellent and the staff were all so polite and friendly. The Hot Meze platter was colourful and delicious. The portion Size was fair, we ordered a hot meze platter for 4 despite being 2 people. I had a creamy caramel hot chocolate as it was an icy cold day. Would highly recommend Black Pepper Turkish Restaurant in Buckingham.”

“Went to Little Petra tonight after looking for some falafel in the area and I had the best dinner in Cambridge so far! Wonderful, fresh food, huge portions (they give you take away boxes), lovely staff and atmosphere. I'll come back!”

“Saw Hound of the Baskerville this evening, very funny and brilliant performance by all. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Venue at Christchurch hall has parking and is accessible for all. Stage, kitchen serving drinks, toilets including disabled facilities and plenty of space. Look forward to more ☺️”

“A little gem. We were meeting up as a family and this pub was half way. Not only was a pint on offer at £2.50 (May 2025) but the food was via an attached Indian restaurant. The food was excellent as was the pint. Don't be put off by the sky sports signs it was a nice village pub”

“I had never been to Althorp Coaching Inn until I was recommended their brilliant open mic event, that happens once a month in the barn. George is a brilliant and welcoming host who delivers excellent sound quality, making performing an absolute joy. It is the best of any I have been too. The staff at the bar are brilliant and the decor and atmosphere is superb. Thanks to visiting the open mic last Tuesday, I became aware of Liane Carroll performing on the Thursday and bought a ticket. I was delighted to see more events planned. I wold not have found this delightful venue were it not for the highly recommended open mic. I am looking forward to eating there next time.”

“We had lunch here today and it was a very good experience, my wife had a vegetarian curry, peanut based, very hot and tasty, perfect. I had lambs liver and bacon with onions and mashed potatoes, as I don't enjoy cabbage I asked for mushrooms instead which was duly served and delicious. Thank you to the friendly staff here, we will be back.”

“A wonderful little Bed & Breakfast in a quaint little town! The service is fantastic, the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. The food is delicious and it has a great pub and patio as well. Highly recommend the Full English Breakfast, the Sausage & Mash, and the Sunday Roast! Breakfast is included when you stay at the B&B. It’s very convenient that they also offer a take away breakfast box if you don’t want to have a sit down breakfast. The rooms are also very comfortable. Awesome place for a meal, drinks, or to stay a few nights!”

“Amazing food, been in Northampton now for just over a year and struggled to find a decent takeaway that we enjoyed, however with here it was great . I had a Adana kofte which was perfectly seasoned but also had great portions . My partner had the vegetarian mousakka and was also delighted. Furthermore when the order arrived the delivery driver was very kind and polite , overall fantastic experience and great food , definitely will be ordering from here again and trying the restaurant post covid.”

Popular indoor/outdoor space and enough parking. I always thought the Loop Road was a local myth but really is a road to where you just were with a great pub half-way round! Perhaps that's what heaven will be like...”

“Bottomless brunch was fantastic. No scrimping on food or drinks. Pints of Amstel and Guinness, Prosecco and cocktails. There was rugby on so the atmosphere was great. The meal was a burger and loads of chips to soak up the drinks. Staff were very attentive, especially chad. You weren’t left waiting for a drink. Would highly recommend midsummer for bottomless brunch.”

“Great service and the food was prepared fresh and tasty. We had the avocado salad, chicken katsu, kimchi and grilled chicken, coupled with some sides. All dishes were faultless and had great flavours. It was a quiet evening but this was fine as it allowed us friends to catch up.”
