Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”

“Visit every week, on one occasion was behind two old farts who said to the young lad serving, "Have you worked here long?" He replied yes a few months. To which they replied "well you should be quicker!" For starters, they didn't pack their shopping, he did!!!! The poor lad just took it and didn't react. In all the trips I've done there the young lads on the till who let's be honest are probably only on min wage are polite, helpful and a credit to the store.”

“Danny served up what was undoubtedly the best food I have ever tasted for our wedding. His efforts trumped any meal I've had at, even at a Michelin-star restaurant. He was also an absolute dream to work with. Changes to the menu, even last-minute ones, were met with a can-do attitude. His flexibility and positive demeanour took a lot of stress off our shoulders, and made the planning process much smoother for us. The standout aspect of his service was how he accommodated our guests with food allergies and intolerances. He didn't bat an eyelid when asked to prepare alternative meals, ensuring no one felt left out. He took great care to ensure these dishes were as delicious and well-presented as the others, which my bride and I felt was truly commendable. It made those guests feel equally important and included in the celebration. In a nutshell, Danny was not just great at his job but also a great person to work with. His dishes were a hit, his attitude was professional and his attentiveness to all our guests' needs was truly heartening. “We hosted our daughter's naming day event here in August 2024 and had a brilliant experience from start to finish. Charlotte and the team were brilliant with communicating in the lead up to the event and made sure everything was set up perfectly for us on the day - not easy with so many babies and children attending! We had about 40 guests and the venue kindly provided high chairs as well and made space for a nappy change facility in the ladies loos. The buffet lunch was delicious and the team set up bespoke welcome mocktails for us. The table tennis and different seating areas were a big hit with attendees of all ages too! This place is an absolute gem - we had a great family celebration here and would highly recommend Club124 as a perfect venue for a special celebration!”

“We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended!”
