“Went to this lovely cafe for my birthday to try afternoon tea for the first time in my life. It was a great experience, and I loved sandwiches, scones and all deserts. They have an extensive tea selection, I tried lavender tea, banana toffee, and you can also ask for coffee with your afternoon tea. I really liked banana flavor. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and in the end offered us two tea samples, one of them was rhubarb and custard (one of my favourite flavors). I tried it at home and it tastes amazing. Nice and cosy place to enjoy, I am happy I chose it for my birthday afternoon tea!”

“This was a great place with great food! The owner (chef) was a really nice guy, even customised the breakfast options for us, we all enjoyed it. He also made fresh "Karak" chai which was very tasty and creamy! Much better than the usual packet-powder stuff which is used widely these days. 5* from me!”

“The Best Hot Chocolate You Will Ever Have! Situated at the bottom of the hill where the Splendor Festival usually is, on right side just after a small bridge, there is a small mobile coffee van. The Barista is such a gent, always pleasant, a true professional. The Hot Chocolate is the most luxurious tasting I have ever had, 100 times better than your Starbucks, Costa, Knoops and independent little cafés. I'm sure the Coffee is great too judging the Hot Chocolate but I am not a Coffee drinker. Also the sweet treats on offer are just.... Beautiful Needless to say, give it a go, thank me later.”

They followed requested added and when I rang into issue with the delivery drivers and wait times on Uber eats (nothing to do with the cafe). I called up and the staff were helpful and polite. The sausage roll was a nice starter, but the gammon and cheese toastie smashed the taste buds through the roof of the van and straight back up the motorway smacking my lips. Proper brew with the bag in too. And all with the smashing service and wonderful smile of the lady who served me. Will definitely be back again.”

However, and more importantly, this place is innovative in supporting the community, local artists and crafters and the staff are dedicated to improving life in Netherfield. A totally new concept for our little town which so often bears the brunt of negative views.”

“Visited to have breakfast for the first time since the new owners took over. Very friendly staff and owner. Very clean and inviting seating area. The breakfast was first class. Proper tasty thick sausage, tasty bacon, Heinz baked beans and Italian tomatoes. Didn't leave hungry, good portions. I would definitely recommend this cafe and will be going again soon.”

“Came here on Sunday for my friends birthday celebration. Absolutely amazing, Food was delicious and so much of it, didn't feel rushed at all. They close at 2 but as we'd not eaten everything they let us stay until we were ready to leave. Friendly and helpful from start to finish, will definitely be back for another afternoon tea.
