“I was recommended to try Pengelly Garage by a neighbour, and I do like a recommendation. I called with a problem of a stone trapped under the car that was rattling around and needed removing. The owner Cliff straight away put the car on a ramp, sorted the problem and sent us on our way.... no charge! Very heartening in this day and age. Did drop in a couple of packets of biscuits to say thanks. Have used the garage a few times since. Always get sound advice and the work done is to a great standard. Everyone I've spoken to about the garage has a good word about Cliff and his work. The garage itself has a very "old school" feel, but I like that. Give them a try, I wasn't disappointed.”

“I have used this garage a few times and have always found them to be friendly, honest and professional. The attention to customer service is second to none and pricing is very competitive. To illustrate this, I recently overlooked the expiration of my MOT and needed the vehicle at the weekend for an urgent trip. The garage diary was full, but Glen, the owner asked me to leave the car with him and would try to squeeze it in if there was a cancellation. In reality, he personally stayed behind that evening to complete the test, but unfortunately it failed. Although really busy the next day, they pulled out all the stops to complete the repair, so much so, that Paul, one of the technicians, offered to stay behind on a Friday night to help finish the job. My car was returned to me at 6.00 and the trip the following day completed. Thank you so much Glen and Paul for going the extra mile.”

Phoned first thing Monday morning, explained the problem they said if we could take the car to them and leave it they should be able to fix it at some point during the week, which is what we did.
