“Enjoy going to Aldi, good selection of fruit and veg, as well as unusual items in there centre aisle”
“Great shop with a range of everyday and premium food products! Friendly staff. The only thing to improve would be to have more allergy-friendly food, like gluten-free food.”
“Great staff; always helpful. The post office in house is a great addition to the business and you can post up to 8.30 at night.”

“I just want to say thank you to a member of staff working at the Ebrington street branch. I have a disorder that means I suffer with pain and I normally don’t manage to go shopping myself. My husband just got out of hospital and I needed to get some stuff for the children’s packed lunches, so had no choice but to go. I was as always in my own little world and just trying to make it quick and manage my anxiety of being out. Then this lovely member of staff came down the isle with an empty basket and said “let me give you this and I will take the full basket to the till” I was so grateful and a little taken back. She said she noticed I was struggling and in pain and felt she needed to ask if she could help. That young lady had no idea of the extent she helped, it was more than carrying my basket, it helped me to see that being out of the house isn’t as scary when you meet people like that. THANK YOU Suzanne (sorry if I misspelled your name) xxxx”

“The owner is always warm, friendly and helpful and the variety of goods for sale is always mind boggling. I always come out of the store with new ideas for things to cook.”
“I have visited Aldi supermarkets in Spain, Germany, and UK. All of them look exactly the same, which is ok, consistency is good, and all of them offer more or less the same products, regional variants aside. To be fair, this one in Plymouth is one of the cleanest and better organised I've seen in the UK.”
“Great place for bulk purchases. We got what we wanted thanks. Smooth visit and quick through the checkout.”
“Great people and staff. Love making everyone laugh down there.”
“Bakery section in these shops are better than any supermarket. The Veg section is excellent. You use your receipt to get out, which in today's climate is excellent”

“Full of family history with my great uncle Mitchelmore on the war memorial my Great Grandfather ran a coach company to Exeter station from Modbury as well as having a drapers shop where the Co-op is now. I used to visit in my teens and went to the Red Devon pub that is no longer open. A beautiful place to live and work from.”
“Well organised and tidy shop. The staff are everso friendly and helpful. I got everything that I required and was so impressed, I have made the decision to go back to this branch in Exeter more often than I have done recently.”
“Great store and lots of self checkouts and parking”
“On Friday 14/11/25 I had called the customer service people to somehow incorporate two deliveries i had into one, this was only a couple of hours notice. The kind lady called the store and explained to the manager the situation which he very kindly fulfilled my request. I would like to thank the manager and staff from the bottom of my heart!”
