“Jim came to do a quote and stayed to complete the job. Started with fitting some door handles and putting up large mirrors and pictures. He has since been back to put up a curtain pole and build a shed and put up curtain hold backs. Installed an outside power socket and garden light. Next job is to build a seat under the stairs. I now just have a list that I add to so that when Jim is about he can pop in for a couple of hours and just get on with those annoying jobs that never get finished. Punctual and reliable , Jim comes with his own hoover and overshoes so that he doesn’t leave any mess behind him. Everything he has done for me so far has been excellent quality. He managed to build a large shed in my garden in the dark using his own mobile lights - don’t know any other tradesmen that would have stayed and done that. Having had my share of cowboy “professional “ builders that charge absorbent fees for very poor workmanship, Jim is a dream find. He’s far more than an odd job, handyman. Am now making plans with Jim to install a new kitchen. Would highly recommend.”

“We have used the flat pack furniture on 3 occasions over 2-year period, both for very large wardrobes and smaller cabinets. This is a family run firm and the fitters are friendly, tidy, reliable and trustworthy. When booking they communicate well with prompt and friendly messages also sending reminder texts with clear information of arrival times and expectations. When asked for the same fitter who did such a good job, the task was assigned to him as requested, and large jobs are performed by two equally experienced fitters. They are quick and extremely focused on getting the job done quickly and to a high standard. They have extensive knowledge and experience to be able to build any furniture without need for instructions. They build systematically in a neat and logical manner within a small area. Where our floor was not level, the fitter was highly diligent, making adjustments to the placement and fashioning additional pieces of wood inserted out of sight to compensate for unwanted slope. He took additional time for this which he gave freely. The finished result looked perfect, pieces were safely secured and work well. They took some rubbish and organised remainder as neatly as possible for recycling. During COVID restrictions they were acutely aware of risks wearing masks, respecting social distancing and being self reliant for refreshments etc. Overall we would definitely use them again and would recommend to others.”
