“We met Mannie when she had one of her charcuterie bars at Basing House Wedding Fayre. We really liked this idea and decided to book her for after our wedding as an alternative to the traditional canapés whilst the photos were taking place. Mannie liased with us on what we would like and we chose a mixture of sweet and savoury. On the day she themed the cart to our wedding theme of Christmas and even popped a couple of filled up cones to one side to make sure, as the bride and groom, we got one. We had some lovely comments from people on the day several who went back for seconds. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Mannicitas Catering and the brilliant charcuterie bars for anyone looking for something different to the usual canapés. The lassi brought back childhood memories, the dosa was crispy and comforting, Chicken 65 had the perfect spice, and the chai? Just soul-soothing. “A gem of a place! Beautiful, little cosy restaurant with lovely food and lovely staff. We ordered Nepalese Chicken curry, Fulka Rotis, Chilli Momos and Saag Palak. The food was yum. Everything was very fresh and tasted authentic. We also tried their Gurkha Beer, which was surprisingly smooth and light. The chilli momos could have been a bit more spicy though, but still good. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We had a delightful experience. Definitely recommend.”

“Me and my girlfriend decided we would try out the food in this fine establishment. We bought a drink at the bar then was taken to our seats to order food. It happened to be steak night and our waiter (Luke) was absolutely amazing, with good old British banter but also very professional. I always get a Rib/eye steak, but like recommended something else by like and I was not disappointed at all. My other half got fish and chips which was cooked to perfection, and oh my god the beef dripping chips are to die for! We will 100% be back, and give Luke a raise because he deserves one!!”

“Previously did a review on this but I need to update this ASAP, to my knowledge this has changed hands and the quality has gone through the roof, The Satay chicken might just be one of the best that i’ve had. They do a Salt and Pepper 9” box for £13 which has: ribs, wings, chicken strips, chips, spring rolls and curry sauce and between two people it’s a great addition. The rice is great also. Pick up time is reasonable in peak hours, could do the collection within 20 minutes.”
