Some of our favourites are the chicken chow mein,crispy beef, salt and pepper chicken, and crispy aromatic duck，all absolutely delicious! We understand Fridays and Saturdays can be very busy, so we usually order early. The food is always worth the wait – fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. “Shanghai is our go-to Chinese takeaway since we moved locally a few years ago. The food is always of a good standard (can vary depending on day of the week) and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The menu is very much standard but really enjoy the salt and chilli ribs and their satay sauce, much more authentic than your standard Chinese”

“This is probably my favourite chinese takeaway, always very friendly and helpful. Meets dietary requirements such as gluten-free. Food tastes great and is always high quality. It feels like such a welcoming place, e.g. We once went there wanting fish and chips, but it said "no fish and chips, fryer is broken." We went in and said,"we were going to order fish and chips, but we see the fryer broke." She thought for a second and said, "No, you're regular, we make especially for you." This really made my day, and as a bonus, every time it's someone's birthday and we go, they give us fortune cookies for free!”
