“We loved our relaxing break at Pheasants Hill Old Byre. We’ve stayed in lots of cottages and this was one of the best. Everything you could need in the cottage had been thought of including one of the most comfortable beds we’ve stayed in. The hosts, Kate and Charles provided a warm welcome and the goodies provided were greatly appreciated (especially the cookies). There are great walks on the doorstep, and we loved exploring Hambleden Valley and our walk down the Thames river to Henley. There’s load of great pubs and restaurants to choose from in the local vicinity as well. We hope to return. Thank you.”

“I stayed here for one night. It is clean and cosy B&B. The ohners are friendly and welcoming. Cooked English breakfast was great. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Was a great venue for a hen of 17 people. The bar outside was a nice feature, especially with all the lights - it was a great place to set up a cocktail bar in the evening. We got lucky with great weather so we setup the benches outside for dinner which looked out onto the field with horses. The snug/living room was a great place to have evening dancing and the TV is setup with a HDMI cable to play hen games on the TV. The kitchen had all the facilities needed for meals and a Sainsbury is a 10-15 mins drive away which was super handy. As well as the pub at the end of the road.”

Everything was clean and as described. The hosts provided great instructions for both arrival and stay. Yet, we were missing a few kitchen utensils (e.g. a properly functioning can opener). However, we would definitely rebook this accommodation and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a comfortable and clean accommodation in a quiet area. We booked the house at the end of April with a total of 7 people for a long weekend. The house was adequately furnished and ideal for our short break. Everything was clean and as described. The owners provided helpful arrival and stay information. Unfortunately we missed a few kitchen appliances (e.g. a working can opener). Nevertheless, we would book this accommodation again at any time and can recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay in a quiet location.”
