“Great room, had a breakfast bar area, fridge, nice big shower. Very clean too! - no parking really on the street in front unless it's for like 2/3 hours but there is a rugby club 10 mins walk that let you park for £4 per day which is great.”
“The friendly and welcoming atmosphere at badgemore Park is first class!! The golf course is one of the best I've played as it is constantly maintained. Highly recommend badgemore.”
“Excellent. I loved staying here. Very quiet and reminded me of home. Pleasant experience with Guest Services and reasonably priced. Will stay here again when I'm in the area.”
“This house /home is a wonderful stay im writing this because of your heart. I can Only thank you for everything you did and didn't have to . For this im indebted all my love jamie Claughton ♥️”
“Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Bobby and Claire, who promptly assisted with parking arrangements. Their exceptional service has significantly enhanced my perception of the Premier Inn brand. I would like to formally commend these individuals to the management for their outstanding contributions.”
“Absolutely great little Pub with very well equipped rooms. Food was great especially breakfast. Staff were excellent. Anyone thinking about a place to stay, whilst visiting Bombay Sapphire, should definitely put this place top of the list. Overton is a lovely friendly little village.”
“Fantastic stay and rooms was so clean. Comfy nights sleep. Highly recommend Gemini Guest House”
“Great value for money. Rooms super clean, comfy beds, great breakfast (although a little pricey if you're not that hungry - but if you are, then full your boots!). Very friendly team too!”
“On arrival a beautiful entrance, we stayed in our own campervan so I can’t comment on chalets. We arrived at 18.30 and reception was closed , the gate code allowed us access , and our pitch was easy to find , each pitch is beautifully marked with a very clear number so there is no confusion, on what’s yours .Site is well maintained, and although there was work in progress, we feel that this can only improve a lovely site with a fantastic lake , walks children’s play area pet and cycle friendly.”
“Had many a meal at the Wee Waif, but after our most recent visit on 11/08 Jamie looked after our table of 13 diners. As usual no problems with any of the food and drinks, great value as usual. But special thanks to Jamie, Job well done.”
“Longridge is such a fantastic facility and one that I would recommend everyone uses (both adults and children alike). They run amazing holiday camps for children, which include different and exciting activities (much more exciting that your bog standard holiday camps). They give a great lunch, offering a balanced meal and encouraging all children to eat the fruit and healthy options available. I have sent my 5 year old daughter multiple times and recommend it regularly to other parents I know. The children are so well looked after and come home shattered and it’s so reasonably priced - what more could you ask for!”
“Well here goes with an updated review. I have now had the pleasure of staying here for a few years now and hope to stay a few years more. Still the great hotel I told you about in my 1st review. The staff are lovely and the rooms spotless. Always warm and always cozy. Light and airy breakfast room with most things on the menu. Thanks guys.”
“Me and my girlfriend decided we would try out the food in this fine establishment. We bought a drink at the bar then was taken to our seats to order food. It happened to be steak night and our waiter (Luke) was absolutely amazing, with good old British banter but also very professional. I always get a Rib/eye steak, but like recommended something else by like and I was not disappointed at all. My other half got fish and chips which was cooked to perfection, and oh my god the beef dripping chips are to die for! We will 100% be back, and give Luke a raise because he deserves one!!”
“Staff very welcoming. Excellent location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with an excellent variety of food. The chef was very accommodating cooking different types of eggs to order.”
“Overnight stay. There dinner bed and breakfast offer was great value for money. As long as you know your going into an older building on busy road in the centre of the village you will be happy with the service and quality of food”
“We attended Trunkwell for our work Christmas do in the wizard of oz themed space. Oh my goodness what an experience we loved the whole thing, the Decor, food and drinks were amazing. LOVED the dodgems ! One girl in particular- Patsi went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time ! She greeted us so warmly, and checked in through out the whole event - nothing we asked was a problem. She really did stand out during the whole running of the evening. She’s a great asset to your team! Please pass our thanks on! We cannot wait to return !”
“Booked very last minute when we found ourselves in the area. Had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the Thames. It was a very hot day but the hotel had catered for this with a quiet Dyson fan and by ensuring the curtains were closed during the heat of the day. Amazing setting, really lovely food. Especially the breakfast menu. Highly recommend.”
“Really nice hotel rooms. Ideal for a business overnight stay. The 1560 lounge and bar in Mansion House was a nice place to dine and relax. Breakfast in the main building was great too. Highly recommend, would go again. Special thanks to Ellie at reception, great customer service!”
“I rented an apartment in the meridian, very nice location and well organized”
“I'm a regular visitor here for stays with work. Rooms are nicely done out and breakfast bag is sufficient for what I need. Location is great in central Reading. Can be a little noisy from the bar below if you're on a lower floor but it quietens down later on and has not affected my sleep.”
“I stayed here for 3 nights in total between moving homes! Lovely area, I didn’t want to leave! Beautiful design throughout, amazing food and wine. The customer service on the bar was great, especially as we had a three year old :)”
“What a place - it understandably attracts a lot of custom and has a real "buzz" about it!! ... stayed one night and had dinner & breakfast. The rooms are "dated" but clean and quite comfortable. The staff are amazing - don't know how Wetherspoons do it. I interacted with five different staff over our stay and they were all polite, helpful and confidently spoken. Extensive menu and food served within 10 minutes of ordering. The service and value for money can not be faulted - I wish Wetherspoons could run the NHS & country! A great location bang in the centre of the charming town of Henley-on-Thames.”
“Stopped off at the Flower Pot for a pint during a walk around the area. Beautiful old pub, nice outdoor area and friendly staff. Plan on coming back soon to try the food!”
“Utterly brilliant, just held the most amazing and memorable (not to mention different) party here. Lunch, hog roast and breakfast very good indeed. Service, pretty much unbeatable I’d say. We didn’t way to leave, the place was like a classy Mediterranean location.”
“My family, friends, and I had a great time. We were staying for a wedding nearby at The Old Mill, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful with everything. The food was fantastic, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend!”
“We attended the fabulous Winterwonderland Ball in the Marquee. The Alpine bar was such fun, and the food absolutely amazing considering there wer 200 guest. We upgraded our room and it was lovely x Breakfast is the very best produce sausages and bacon outstanding x”
“Great room, clean and tidy. Amanda was fantastic. The garden is a great place to be in the evening. Will definitely be back. Thank you :-)”
“This was the last hostel my family and I stayed at after touring around the UK for 13 days. During our stay, there were not many guests at all so we could explore and have fun wherever we wanted. The building was definitely older than the other hostels we have been to but the quality of the service was not any worser. The staff was friendly and we had an amazing talk with Mr. Barnes before leaving. A great memory to be remembered!”
“A couple rooms was booked and we were very much delighted with the experience at the hotel. A double bed was provided which was very much comfortable and we had booked this hotel for an educational session for 4 days and it was with a penny. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. There was room service for breakfast and the breakfast was very good. Room cleaning was done everyday and cleanliness was never a matter for us. Overall I would give a 5 out of 5 for the hotel.”
“Stopped off on a long journey for some lunch. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Really nice atmospheric pub. They even allow dogs with open arms which was fantastic and our collie was made to feel very welcome! Thankyou for a lovely meal and an enjoyable rest.”
