The cafe itself is located very central on this nice little English town. @tmosphere is as always cool, very French feel and people sit near to each other but still there is some tables that can be separated from others. SERVICE Very good! We were served by lovely ladies, Daniella and Fatima.Very kind and professional... FOOD Excellent food.Very tasty and well cooked. I was there with friends from Kerith church in Windsor and we had a lovely time.... each one orederd something different...all were satisfied. “What a gem in Reading…so nice to visit an authentic little cafe that isn’t part of a large chain. Was warmly welcomed with smiles. I had a delicious hot chocolate and bought some Italian pastries. This place has a nice selection of Italian treats and pasta, sauces and more. Will come again next time I’m in the area.”

“Me and my family love Dee Caf and have been enjoying the coffee, toasties, cakes and friendly service since they first opened. Great for babies and children and tired parents. We recently asked Tina to cater for our 4 year old’s birthday and they really went above and beyond with the themed sandwiches and fruit platter. Beautifully displayed canapés and samosas with incredible dips for the adults. Super tasty and fresh. Fantastic looking, delicious cake for a very reasonable price and all delivered by hand to the party venue locally. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!”

“One of the best places to eat in Reading! Second time eating- every time extremely happy! Me and my husband Edgar ordered today Zaks mixed platter and lamb shashlik. Everything was super tasty. Meat was so juicy and tender, absolutely delicious. Chips and salad were marvelous. Zaks sauces're just amazing . Thanks guys very much and we will be back very soon! Very good service, very delicious food, highly recommended!”

“A busy cafe on the edge of the airfield with tables both inside and outside. The food is good and service is quick. It can be very pleasant to sit outside to eat / drink as then you can watch the activities on the airfield which is generally quite busy with light aircraft and helicopter flights.”

“Quite charming. Its staff and patrons are really genuine and friendly; you can tell that this is a well-loved place with great vibes and its loyal regulars. Where many breakfast places were empty, this place was absolutely jam-packed, which is a testament to how well-loved it is in the community. I wouldn’t say that the food or presentation is trying to blow your mind. It’s more of a home-cooked, comfort food. The best part is really the staff; the young servers are so polite and hardworking. Very quaint!”

“A very nice coffee shop that does breakfast and coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Good amount of comfortable seating, high chairs l, books and some toys for kids. Very welcome and friendly staff, WiFi available and easy to sit and catch up on some work.”

“We planned our stop here as was 1/2 way to our destination, Weymouth. The reviews are all correct. Gr8 value, nice people working there & coffee & food that was well worth pulling off the well worn track for. We would recommend a visit here if in the vicinity. They even sent me the menus via messenger that I asked for. This made deciding on what to order easy when we got there. Plenty of free parking always available!!”

“Great atmosphere; the staff are welcoming with friendly and smiley faces. The pasta service was fast and helpful. Tried the Spicy Pollo Pasta and was tasty; it was ‘al dente’ consistency and pasta sizes was decent. Tips are: -you can self order or also order via the counter with helpful staff if it your first time. -they have nice coffee, though also can help yourself to free tap water with glass by the cutlery area. -wide selection of hot and cold food/drinks. -no need to book as the service is fast. Overall I would recommend a try and visit; positive vibes, lively music (was there during a special promotion), modern and fun.”

“Lovely food this afternoon, I had the Lamb Shank, which came to me piping hot, with lots of vegetables & piping hot minty gravy. It was delicious and the hottest meal I’ve had in a very long while .. well done team. Hubby had a burger & chips and his was tasty, and again served piping hot. The main meal came after a little wait which was fine. The drinks came quickly & the only concern was the wait for our dessert, which the one waitress who was serving everyone with food, brought to us as quickly as she could. She was rushed off her feet & She didn’t stop, but was very efficient and had a smile even though she was so busy. I really admired her. The wait for our dessert was a bit unfortunate and unnecessary, but it was delicious. I think they needed another waiter / waitress as one was not enough for the amount of people there today. The main problem was with the state of the restroom / toilets… that seriously needs addressing asap. We’ll definitely return though as the food is always delicious & fresh & piping hot, & we’d recommend it to anyone too. Lovely setting by the river.”
