“Since our favourite Indian restaurant (The Mangla) closed, we have been looking for a replacement. We tried 5-6 Indian restaurants, but we haven't found a good one until now! The Indian Garden in Sheffield is hands-down the best Indian restaurant we have tried! We started with poppadoms and a very generous pickle tray which was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the onion salad, chilli sauce and raita. All perfect! the Indian Garden Starters For 2, a sizzling hot platter that was an absolute delight. The chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and sheek kebab were bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection—truly excellent. For mains, we had the Chef’s special curries: the Chicken Karahi and Murgh Masala, both of which were delicious, rich, and packed with authentic taste. The pilau rice was light, fluffy and the Peshwari Na'an was a perfect compliment to the tasty curry. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and provided prompt, polite service. The restaurant has a nice relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We’ve found our new curry home and we will definitely be going back soon! Highly recommend Indian Garden.”

“I have been using Shaws for a number of years following a recommendation from a friend( Builder). I have always been delighted by their attention to details and Can Do attitude to ensuring that the product is exactly right. A number of weeks ago I incorrectly ordered some door furniture and did not realise it was not suitable until just before fitting. We quickly ordered the desired replacements items which Shaws got in stock very efficiently. “Lovely day out at xmas. The house is beautifully decorated with all 47 trees. Especially loved the enchanted woodland theme with the fairies this year. The light projection onto the house was beautiful too. Only niggle is the two way route past the rockery for the light trail.”

“Wonderful day out,an incredible place stunning walks through woodland, along the meandering river, beautiful water rills, lots of things going on for youngsters, bike hire available from trundle bikes to adults. The historical grand house sadly is no longer standing but the history is mind blowing. The walled garden and greenhouse is fantastic and you can actually buy some of the produce at the entrance to the walled garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.”

“Simply, a well run, good honest local pub. Friendly staff, sports (by request if needed), pool table, nice beer garden and affordable. Not enough of this type of pub around these days. Well done.”

“Finally found a proper pub in N Sheffield after 2 years living here. Lovely old building, great beers, really friendly locals and staff, family and dog friendly but well behaved kids and dogs! Cosy, charming, it had the soul and inclusive ambience that most boozers north of the city are really lacking. Food was well priced, didn’t blow me away but I think they were busy concentrating on the Sunday roasts. Would like to check out the pizzas in the future…. I just wish there were pubs like this (or any pubs!) around Wincobank. Please go in and support their business. Well done H&J, I will be back!”
