“Fantastic food and very good prices. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Great find.”
“Absolutely fantastic little cafe. Food is all fresh and at cracking prices the portions are spot on. Beautiful Sunday dinners with a choice of different meats and they deliver. Best home made cheesecakes around. The staff are friendly and polite with fantastic banter. I’ll be going nowhere else”
“travelled to Sheffield for work and popped in here for breakfast. received a warm welcome from the team. very extensive breakfast menu: excellent coffee and good sized portions, all freshly prepared. will definitely be back next time I'm visiting the city!”
“It was our first time in the area and had been recommended to go to S17. A lovely, modern cafe with good food and quick service. I would recommend the pancakes!”
“Really nice little spot, we visited a week ago and had a couple of baguettes. The bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly. The coffee was great as was the Yorkshire Tea.”
“Amazing food. It’s been a place I’ve been to for years and everything is spot on.”
“Friendly staff, cosy surrounding! Seats are hard to come by!”
“There is a reason I call this one of the best Portuguese spots outside Portugal. I already knew the pastels would be a treat and the bica (espresso) is a lesson in the underrated and brilliant nature of Portuguese coffee. Lovely interior with lots of charm to it too!”
“Ended up here on a day out to Doncaster and was really impressed with how delicious the food was, the portions were big too definitely great value for money. The servers were very attentive. Lovely place”
“Excellent Brunch at the Showroom Cafe. Always very lively in here and good food too. Great place to eat before (or after) a film.”
“Usually have a cup of tea here. Order and they bring it to your table. Cool and airy in the Market Hall. Selection of pastries too. Recommend it”
“Brilliant time, Nice music and people, I can't wait to go again”
“Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights while we visited family as we have come from the Lake District and we could not have asked for a better experience! The receptionist was very smiley and welcomed us with nothing but a positive attitude! On the second night we had a little issue with the key card but a new receptionist was very helpful and sorted the issue within no time. We were absolutely delighted with the room, very clean! We will definitely be coming by again.”
“Lovely little cafe. Nice jacket potatoes. Nice sausage rolls and pasties. Reasonably priced too.”
“Everything is fresh and theres a wide variety of flavours. Excellent service”
“There were eight of us who dined here prior to us staying the night at the lovely Hex Hotel. Now I'm known to have eaten a burger or two in my time so I consider myself an expert in such things. I had the 6oz Prime Beef Burger and added cheese and bacon. Now take this as a compliment chef/owners etc; this was one of the best burgers I've eaten. The meat was perfect and the Onion Chutney added a level of sweetness that just made it next level. The bacon was also really nice. It didn't fall apart and it wasn't at all greasy. Trust me, this is a top tier burger that I'd recommend very highly. The service was good and we also had breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was a buffet help yourself affair. The food was great and of a decent quality. 10/10”
“I have always and will always love, the Sainsbury’s cafeteria, the quality is consistently excellent and service is quick, not to mention cheaper than other alternatives. Highly recommended.”
“Great staff, good food , nice ambience. The Dj was on fire, and MC Afrocharm always delivers. Are you looking for a nice spot for a night out ? Elios Lounge got you covered!!!!!”
“Since I had espresso there once i stopped going anywhere else in Sheffield. They use high quality beans which is creamy and fruity (Lavazza). I also love their Cortado it is the best I have ever had.”
“Really cool little place, really nice and chilled atmosphere. We didn't try any food as we went in the evening but the food cooking for the next day smelt amazing”
“We had such a lovely time at PlayTown Sheffield! It’s such a well thought out space with 8 themed areas perfect for little imaginations. My two absolutely loved dressing up and exploring all the different zones from the mini supermarket to the vets and the shops. We also went during their egg hunt and it was such a fun bonus activity! The staff were friendly, the space was clean and well-organised, and I really liked that everything is reset between sessions so it feels fresh every time. The outdoor play area was a great extra touch, and having a little coffee spot for grown-ups is always appreciated! Definitely recommend for anyone with young children looking for something fun and different to do in Sheffield.”
“Absolutely Brilliant! Such nice staff such good tea!!”
“A hidden treasure in Sheffield with the absolute best coffee in town! The beans were freshly roasted on premise by Frazer and you could smell and taste his profound coffee passion in the brew. BTW he has won multiple awards too. Frazer was very generous in sharing his coffee insights, travel and stories with us. He even took us for a tour of his workshop as he was taking a break - what a generous kind hearted man! We saw his home made roaster machine, a contraption designed and made out of passion.. just what an artisan craftsman does best. I took home a bag of his freshly roasted decaf beans straight out of the workshop. Thank you Frazer!”
“With a tap selection that is on rotation its a nice surprise to find a new taste each week. The platter boards and honey sausages are lovely. They have regular evening events with karaoke, Greek and Curry nights, live music etc. The Laura and Paul are very knowledgable about any beer related questions you have and are constantly on the search for the next barrel to bring in. Also dog friendly - but they are only allowed the biscuits due to licensing laws.”
“This is one of those hidden gems, certainly worth a visit. Been there on a couple of occasions. Nice coffee, cake & food at reasonable prices.”
“I live about a mile from Roots, and drive and walk by regularly. But I never noticed it. Now, I call in quite regular for a cappuccino which is to die for. It is so creamy and tasty. It beats C@%&A and the like any day. I have never tried the food, but what I have seen looks very tasty. The staff are very polite and friendly. The premises is quite large, and there is a decent size room for private functions. The single use toilet is always very clean. There is parking to the front. All in all a great place for a meet up with friends for a catch up and a coffee and a snack. Opening times. Sunday closed. Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Saturday 9am to 2pm Closed Bank Holidays. Except school holidays. 9am to 2pm.”
“The best atmosphere of any cat cafe I have visited; rules ensure that the cats are treated well but also does not restrict the experience of visitors. The staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to feed the cats with provided food/ treats. Good coffee too - vegan options for cakes but I did not get the chance to try these.”
“Pleasant, independent Italian coffee shop and restaurant. You can order pizza or pasta (homemade with local ingredients) alongside a coffee for less than the cost of a shipped-in panini at other places. Also do a variety of salads and sandwiches.”
“Lovely food and great friendly staff.”
