Food establishment in Doncaster

“Visited the Elephant and Castle in Doncaster yesterday evening for my friends hen do. I cannot recommend the place enough. The food was absolutely delicious, they boxed up what we had left for us to take away. The service was amazing, they changed the table size last minute and yet still provided us with a free bottle of Prosecco & mocktails. Evening though the restaurant was empty - due to football most likely the service did not fail us! We didn’t feel rushed to get out in the slightest. Absolutely amazing place and I for one will be sure to be returning! Big shout out for Becka, for being the best waitress and checking in on us to make sure everything was good for us! Thank you again!”

“Went today for Bottomless Brunch, Gave 4 stars for atmosphere as we was the only ones there... It was a Wednesday afternoon though. Food was great and fresh, Freya was a absolute diamond and a credit to this pub, we never went without a drink , she surprised us every time with a different cocktail. “What can say about his store is that you can find good quality on some products.I'm a regular customer of this store. If you don't want to get a fine, don't park in front of the store. Heron has nothing to do with the parking fines, is the landlord of the land.”

“Called into the Restaurant for a drink after a long walk around the Lake. Although the restaurant was busy the staff were attentive, polite, in Xmas spirit and the atmosphere felt festive and warm.”

“This is my 4th visit to the Premier. Always the friendliest greeting. Jill was on reception & I must say she is a credit to the Hotel, with her warm smile and welcoming conversation, nothing is too much trouble for her, also this was the 1st time i have had breakfast. We had the all you can eat continental. Porridge was lovely as was the pancakes. We were looked after by the lovely Bernie, who again couldn't have looked after us more. Another credit to the hotel. Definitely the only place I'll stay when visiting Doncaster.”

“Reserved a table for 5:30, rang at 5:30 to say we’d be late (due to traffic) & they were very understanding and completely fine with this. We arrived 15/20 minutes late and was taken straight to our table. Nathan was our server and was an absolute gem the whole time we were there. Was very accommodating and great with the kids too. Helped make my sons evening by bringing out cake and candle singing happy birthday. Food was delicious and kept on top of, nothing in short supply. As a whole, our evening was very enjoyable. Shoutout to Priscilla and Nathan for helping make our night a good one. Thankyou”

“Outstanding bar! Sports, music, fruit machines and a pool table.. plenty of seating inside and out (front and back) Lovely out back when its sunny. The owner knows what he's doing here!! Excellent.”

“After going for a meal out we though we would have a few drinks. Whilst walking round trying to find somewhere to drink we heard the live music coming from inside. Needless to say we went in! We were the last ones out!! Fantastic service and the messengers band that were playing that night were absolutely unbelievable can't wait to come back over this will be the first place we go for a drink again”

“My absolute favourite bar in Donny. Biscuit Billy's atmosphere is second to none, yes it gets crowded on the dance floor, its loud but its THE best place to have a cracking night/early morning just having a sing and dance along to the music. Really nice bar staff, bouncers. Its a people person place.”

“Great bowling venue. Tuesday are half price pretty much everything so quite busy but well worth going. Had a massive upgrade recently with better seating and eating. Arcade machines for the kids as well as an escape room. I haven’t tried that yet but the bowling is just as good as before”

“We find the food to be consistently tasty and of high quality. The delivery times are good and prices reasonable. Seems a very good local takeaway. Premises also fresh and clean after a full refurb having previously been a Chinese-owned chip shop.”

“I come here every day.. can I say all staff are wonderful n so helpful.. a one guy who has a beard lol narrows it down oh so down to earth n hit a spot with me like a counsellor.. he is immense n what a guy.. a true worker n as a big heart.. all staff there are wonderful n thank you guys.. manager he I amazing aswell trying to catch Criminal activity but you can only do your best.. just a big thank you to the team Nostell.. fantastic xxxx.”

“Clean and spacious room and bathroom. As is pretty standard now most of the sockets in the room have built in USB chargers, so just being a USB cable with you to charge your phone. Not sure if it was due to the current fuel prices, but it was nice that for once the room wasn't overbearingly hot on arrival. Only downside was that check-in was very slow, it took almost 30 mins (arrived just behind another group).”
