“Never fail to find a bargain in Wilko. On this visit, that bargain was a Venetian blind for just £2.50. Of course, everything I actually called in for was also reasonably priced too. The lady that served me was lovely and the two members of staff that I spoke to on the shop floor were very helpful.”

Beautiful quality plants some of which were multi buy deals and none of which broke the bank. Staff were amazingly helpful, in particular one Scottish gentleman who was both helpful and friendly. “Fantastic service from Howdens in Hillsborough. I was well out of my comfort zone when I popped in recently to source kitchen cupboard doors for a rental property, as advised by my handyman. I called ahead and was advised to pop in, so Jamie went through the options available & arranged for someone from the team to come out to the property to measure up. Jamie even spoke to my handyman whilst I was there as I'm completely clueless in the kitchen cupboard door department! Matt came round to measure up the following week, & he gave me great advice with regards to what my options were with the limited space I had, & offered to do a plan whilst keeping costs to a minimum. Laura then called from Howdens to advise me that my account was up and running. I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the team at Howdens for their excellent customer service & add a huge recommendation.”

“Great shop loads on bottom floor to choose and good value plants. Upstairs only a few items and not really worth a look up there unless your looking for bathroom or kitchen stuff. Not much in sale yet.”

“Great shop, friendly staff. Not great for fresh produce, but they have all kinds of tinned stuff and a selection of options for staples like bread and milk. ALSO an Alladins cave of toys and tools. Real old school shop that has a bit of everything you could ever want, and all the stuff you never realised you even needed! Good for beers and wines too”
