“Called into the Restaurant for a drink after a long walk around the Lake. Although the restaurant was busy the staff were attentive, polite, in Xmas spirit and the atmosphere felt festive and warm.”

“Clean and spacious room and bathroom. As is pretty standard now most of the sockets in the room have built in USB chargers, so just being a USB cable with you to charge your phone. Not sure if it was due to the current fuel prices, but it was nice that for once the room wasn't overbearingly hot on arrival. Only downside was that check-in was very slow, it took almost 30 mins (arrived just behind another group).”

This isn't something you'd get from normal takeaways, it's a specialist pizza place and it's perfect every time. Their sauces are home made and a great addition. Give it a try!”

“What a lovely little café so glad I stumbled upon this place. Lots of home made food and the scones were amazing had to take one home for later. “Lovely micropub with plenty of cask,draft,can and bottled beers to choose from. Sit back and relax outside on the platform and watch the trains and people rush by. Excellent. Friendly staff and good prices. Good range of Bar snacks available. Excellently and sympathetically restored interior of the old station buffet, which before these guys was relegated to a dilapidated store room after the buffet was shut by British Rail in the early 1990's or there abouts. Will certainly be back. *hopefully those screens on the bar are taken down soon as you have to go to the side of them anyway to get the beer or speak properly to the bartender :)”

Will always pop in for a cuppa when in Tickhill, lovely place to take a minute for yourself. It is more expensive than some other places but the atmosphere and care of the staff make it worth it.”

“A place that many people drive by shown as a lawnmower shop but thanks just a fraction of what they do. From pet and horse feed country clothing and footwear wide range of cheap to branded high end. Shooting clothing workweek Inc high vis. Excellent range of tools fixtures and fittings. Want one washer can buy it here. Plumbing,paint, and farm hardware. There is also wood and garden fittings outside. Worth a stop when passing bye.”
