Food is consistently good and they realistically cater for those that don't particularly like hot food, when I ask for a very mild vegetable curry, that is exactly what I get. So if you are looking for a first class Indian takeaway, then I suggest that you give Spice of Romsey a call.”

I opted for the roast lamb, which was cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful, and accompanied by the most delicious gravy. My partner chose the fish and chips, and it was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and the presentation was top-notch. What truly set this place apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They even took the time to chat with us about the history of the pub, which added a lovely personal touch to our visit. To top it all off, the dessert menu was a dream. We shared a sticky toffee pudding that was simply divine – the perfect end to a fantastic meal. “Here last night for a team meal and had such a great experience. The service was excellent from start to finish — the staff were so friendly and welcoming, which really made the evening. “I've been a regular at Jade House for a while now, and it consistently delivers a solid Chinese takeaway experience. The menu is diverse, with all the classics, and they do a great job with their dishes. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are quite reasonable. The service is generally prompt, though there have been a couple of times when the wait was a bit longer than expected. Nevertheless, the quality of the food usually makes up for any delays. The staff is friendly and always ready to accommodate special requests. Overall, Jade House is a reliable choice for satisfying Chinese food cravings. It's not the most upscale place, but the comfort of good, consistent food keeps me coming back.”

“Great food and decor. Attentive and polite staff. A lovely place for a meal in Romsey. Didn’t have the full menu available but what they did have was very well made and flavourful. A bit noisy due to the bar and restaurant being connected but that’s to be expected in a bar/restaurant venue on a Saturday night. Overall I would recommend The Olive Tree.”
