“Great little store, with owners, who work hard to keep the essentials you need in stock. Very friendly and helpful staff who are always ready to offer advice or assistance. This venue offers parcel posting and collection which is absolutely brilliant for the local community. ATM is available outside and limited parking is available at the rear. Wonderful asset to Bishops Waltham. Open from 06:00 until 20:00 Mon-Sat. 07:00 - 19:00 Sun Very highly recommended.”

“Recently had a black/blue two piece suit tailored for me here for my wedding and hopefully to be used many times going into the future as well and I will say the manager Andy and his colleague Sean were fantastic. Spoke to Andy a couple of times initially when coming into the store to enquire about getting a fitted suit and what I was after and he kindly, when we didn't have to, made me aware of when certain sales were coming up to make my purchase cheaper as well as fair advise on what would fit me. Came back during the sale and throughout the whole process of measuring and trying on the suit pieces several times I was taken care of by Sean who was professional, attentive and nothing was too much of an ask. Considering this is the first time I'd ever had a suit made for me he made the whole process enjoyable and I always felt at ease. Was also nice to have someone young around my age serving me as well. Despite a couple of hiccups with sizing because of the tailor they send off to made a mistake Sean was very apologetic and prompt with getting it rectified and in the end I was more than happy to pay the final bill for not just the suit but the amazing service Sean and his colleagues provided. Considering this was apparently Sean's only third suit fitting whilst working there he did a great job. Much appreciated the team at Gieves and Hawkes!”

“I had a very positive experience at Clarks Winchester yesterday. Our salesperson was Amelia G and she was so great with my two boys (age 2 & 4) she was very patient with the littlest one. I felt she really engaged with them positively and listened to the eldest with what he likes. I would highly recommend this store as it feels very personal. Thank you so much for making getting shoes (usually very stressful) a good experience.”

That said, the queues at peak times can be frustrating, and self-checkouts often glitch or need staff intervention. Online delivery is convenient but slots fill up fast, and substitutions aren’t always ideal. Staff are generally friendly, though some seem rushed. Overall, it does the job without much fuss – solid, but nothing exceptional.”

“This is my favourite coffee shop. The staff are always super friendly, chatty, helpful and make your order just right, even with annoying adjustment requests (hot chocolate not too hot, boba bubble drink with no boba bubbles). It’s also easy to access with disabled or regular parking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Karen and Lily are lovely people and are often the highlight of my day out doing errands and getting a drink or snack in between . Thank you!”
