“I was gifted the full-day experience for my birthday, and what an amazing gift. The couple running it exuded passion and love for the birds, and were immensely knowledgeable. They were both very friendly and from the start made it clear that they would tailor the experience to what the small group wanted, as much as possible. Want to take photos? They'll help you. Want to learn everything about falconry? They'll tell you! Just don't stroke the feathers :) The birds themselves were amazing! The little kestrel and owls were very cute with great personalities, the hawk and peregrine were amazing to 'train' and see fly in real life, and the golden eagle was just something else! I genuinely can't recommend this enough, whether you know nothing about birds or are a falconry fanatic!”

“We booked a multi day Yorkshire Dales trip with On Foot and it exceeded our expectations. The On Foot team was very responsive, helpful and always answered my, albeit many, questions. I am so appreciative of their attention to detail. They provided detailed guides for the walk including gps tracks and those made us feel more comfortable and safe. The local contact, Shaun, was also very helpful and kind, checking in with us each day to see how we were doing, encourage and provide tips. They also booked table reservations for us at great restaurants and we were happy to have these as some places were fully booked. We are already thinking about our next trip with On Foot!”

“Amazing from start to finish! Our waitress,, Elena (not sure I’ve got her name right!) was absolutely delightful, nothing was too much trouble, even clearing up my eggy mess for me!! I had the full breakfast which was cooked to perfection with an apple juice and coffee. 10/10 highly recommended!”

“I've returned from my first tour with Andante Travels (to Pompeii & the Naples area) and it was excellent. The small (18) group size, all inclusive price, free single supplement were all pluses, but the lecturer guide, Jamie, & tour manager, Debbie really made it work It's an active programme & there's no real downtime, but visiting all the archaeological sites & museums was so much more interesting with a guide who knows Roman history inside out & can share that info in an accessible way. It also meant you didn't miss the best bits within the huge mass of things on show And a thank you to our lovely coach driver, Giovanni, who was so generous with biscuits from his wife & fruit from his garden. I'm happy to recommend Andante.”
