“Had read very good reviews about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Very friendly helpful staff, lovely tasty tapas dishes and very pleasant environment. Prices were sensible for wine and food. Would definitely go again.”

It enabled a group of school friends to reunite. We were given the best seat in the house with views of the river. Nice decor throughout. Service was well informed and pleasant without being intrusive. Recommend the cheese course. Very memorable.”

“I found this place through Google review search. We arrived and was told they could not accommodate 4 of us inside. A very helpful lady sorted us out with a nice table right in the centre of the pub. We ordered and waited for a short time . We were not prepared for the portion size, we had fish, pie and chips, sausage and mash and the half rack of ribs. The ribs I swear came of the biggest pig in the peak District. Every thing was fresh hot and tasteful. It was amazing, I would not drive past this place. It is the real deal. After a day on the peaks this is the place for amazing atmosphere great fresh local tasteful food.”

“We had our football Christmas meal at the New Inn at the beginning of December, the food was fantastic as always, staff we helpful and friendly, we pre-ordered as there were 15 of us and we weren't disappointed, definitely would recommend the sharing platter, a great evening with delicious food - many thanks ☺️”

“Great pub. We were staying nearby for the night, read there was tapas and took a wonder up to check it out. Beer is sublime, best pint of ale I've had in a while. Yes the tapas portions are big, but very nice, so no complaints for us! Beer garden has some awesome views and the sunset was amazing. If we are ever back this way we will come again.”

“Great new bar open in Stafford, went with my wife for the opening night and we enjoyed that much we went back again the following week for lunch on my wife’s birthday. The drinks are reasonably priced and there are some lovely cocktails to choose from. We ate on both visits and the food is of excellent quality, the seasoned fries are to die for, they are special trust me !! All the staff were friendly and very attentive, the service was first class and very efficient. All in all I can’t fault any part of our experiences and would definitely recommend, we will be going back again very soon. 5 out of 5”

“As always a Wetherspoons that is more than the sum of its parts. My wife and I popped in for a glass of wine whilst out for an early evening stroll and stayed to eat. Service a little slow but one member of staff stood out for his willingness to engage. Food as reliable as always - and great value. And we loved the energy and people watching.”

“The food was excellent - some of the best Chinese food I've had recently. I particularly liked the kai sung (it reminded me of the san choy bow you find in Chinese restaurants in Australia). The sizzling beef was served on a sizzling hot platter with a tasty pepper sauce. The wonton soup had luscious and juicy prawn wontons with a generous serve of wontons. We decided to go a la carte, but the range of set menus is impressive and well priced too. It was lovely to see the restaurant team welcoming people and checking in with people at key stages of the meal. It had a really nice family feel and vibe! Luckily we booked our table the night before dining as the restaurant filled up very quickly after we arrived. We were visiting family in the area, so we don't live close by - but we've said we would gladly return on future visits. It is great to support local business and not just dine in the same restaurant chains.”
