“Very good little gem. Visited today for dinner, and greatly surprised of the quality of the pub. Inside it is absolutely spotless clean, atmosphere very cosy, and staff friendly. Food was 9/10 and service also, this due to not being double checked after we had our mains, and the veggies were microwaved and not fully cooked. We’ve noticed all the food comes on a plate, but chips and veggies separate which is a new thing and we couldn’t decide weather is working or not, as we had to share a bowl of chip’s between us. I totally recommend the pate, chicken goujons, and the pie for the main. The pie was cooked perfectly, and the beef was very very tasty and soft. Puddings 9/10, again, custard seemed to be microwaved and had some lumps inside and a jelly texture, but only few places are doing dessert in the house nowadays so its totally understandable. We’ll definitely be back as it was a worthy experience. Very good prices for food but also for the drinks considering the current markets. Thank you.”

“The accomodation was excellent. We had a converted outbuilding to ourselves with a choice of bedrooms, a small kitchen, lounge and conservatory. A friendly welcome from Eileen together with a couple of generous slices of cake was a perfect start to the stay at the farm. There was plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee, milk etc and the kitchen was well appointed with immaculate and modern appliances. The owners have got a Labrador puppy named Harper who was absolutely adorable. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely return to this idyllic and peaceful location with stunning views of the countryside. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. We ended up having a curry in a restaurant called "New royal balti" in Audley which was superb. Being non licensed we took a bottle of wine there from the Tesco store a few doors away.”

“What an amazing stay, Julie's hospitality from when we arrived until our departure. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable even the sheets had a fantastic fresh smell. The breakfast is fit for a king, I couldn't finish it all but was really tasty. The shower was powerful with plenty hot water. If your in the area its the place to stay.”

“Great quality clothes shop in the heart of Cheadle town. We are so lucky to have this beautiful place. Sells beautiful Italian clothes the lovely layered look ones with nice soft floaty materials. Other clothes also sold here. A good range of fashion footwear can be found here as well as bags, purses, scarves and costume jewellery. You have to be quick, the best day to shop here is a Thursday when the new stock is in, it quickly sells!! Any day is good though. Stock is replenished weekly with new items to keep it interesting.”

“My mum recently had a new bathroom fitted she was extremely happy with the whole process. Dan was very helpful and great at communicating.He made sure I was happy with the design, then happy with the plumbers Barry and dave who where also always punctual , polite and have done a great job. “We went for a sunday dinner today and I have never had a better sunday lunch in my life. There was 3 of us and we shared a sunday lunch board. Great portions, fantastic selection of veg on the board with succulent ham and the best pigs in blankets i’ve ever seen. Words cannot describe how good this meal was, if i could vote it 11/10 i would. Big shoutout to the chef Ryan who did a fantastic job.”

“I've been here several times now. The fataya is pretty good but the schwarma especially the mixed one is amazing. There's never really a queue when I go in the evenings and it's usually a quiet relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for me.. The guys are friendly, and the portions are generous and filling. I'd definitely recommend it especially if you want a quick bite before catching the train as it's literally a few minutes walk away.”

“We visited here after a trip to a National Trust property. We parked outside here to go to a pub further up the road & expected it to be closed when we came back, but they were still open at 9.10pm. Which was very lucky for us! The staff were so friendly & the food was all delicious. We ordered mixed kebab meat, fish, steak pie, large sausage & large chips. The prices are very good & the portions are very generous. As it was near closing, they gave us a large battered sausage & 3 potato fritters for free. We mentioned that we were going to share the food whilst sat in the car, as we aren’t local & asked if we could have 3 spare trays to make it easier. They went one step better by giving us 3 trays & offering for us to sit inside at a table, as they still needed to do their cleaning. We gladly took them up on this offer & thoroughly enjoyed everything. Such excellent & friendly service. We will definitely return here if we’re ever in the area again :-)”
