βNo longer sells food. Staff told us next closest decent food place, but they don't have access to update the website. Looked like a great pub regardless.β

βIt may not have special offers on MOTs like Halfords, but you get an honest MOT. The only garage I take my car to for work, been going there for years nowβ
βGreat quality food. Great atmosphere and fab team. So so full. Highly recommend the full breakfast. Such good food! And the staff are lovely. Always go there when I need a good mealβ

βAbsolutely lovely hotel. The manager could not have done enough to make us feel welcome and settled. Our room was stunning so comfy and it was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend for its great value and charm.β
βShort version: Fantastic B&B to which we'd happily return. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and personable and were very happy to help us out wherever they could; in my case, using the warm, dry, shed to replace a tubless bicycle tyre which had given up on the idea of retaining air inside it. The room was great and everything felt 'just so'. It's unashamedly at the more premium feeling end of the market and worth every penny of our stay there. Special mention must be made of the breakfasts which were spectacular. The continental breakfast was vast and included fruit juice, cereal, croissants, fresh fruit and toast. There is also the (additional charge) option of a Full English which is fabulous, although it may mean you don't eat very much until rather later in the day...there isn't a huge amount of plate showing between the food. Bonus points must also be awarded to the choice of putting peppercorns on the mushrooms. Pro tip 1: if you're after a cooked breakfast (and I'd urge you to at least try it once), it's a good idea to let someone know the night before so they can be prepared. Pro tip 2: Steve and Andy's local knowledge is excellent, both in terms of the eateries, but also the small roads to avoid so I'd recommend taking advantage. I did a Google check on one of them and it'd be ... interesting ... to take a car down there, especially as you're highly likely to meet a tractor coming the other way.β
βIt was a pleasant day meeting the badminton racket expert in Stafford. I was there to restring my racket and Colin was very professional and cooperative in showering his knowledge and got my work done within 25min of time. Thank you very much Colin. I will surely recommend this service to my friends.β
βSorted me out, great service, explained my issues and they fixed them.β
βNext at Queens in Stafford is a shop for everyone. I am able bodied but have noticed the shop caters for people with all disabilities. There is a lift, an esculater, and a staircase. It's easy to navigate around the store and have personally found the staff very helpful and always approachable. There is plenty of parking and does have the added facility of a Costa where again the staff are very helpful so a win win all round.β
βThis is my favourite pub in Eccleshall. Beer is by far the best, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are friendly. What more could you want?β
βI was here yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time. Of course, the cafe is in a great location, and we enjoyed sitting outside (despite the cold!) taking in the view and watching all the birds who came and went from the decking area. What we loved here was the attention to detail in the food: We ordered a jacket potato with cheese and a leek and potato soup - the cheese was already melted into the potato, and the bread that came with the soup was toasted! Little things like this turned it from a good meal into a great one! Whenever we're back in Stafford, this will definitely be somewhere we try to visit again.β
βI booked a room for family members, and they had a lovely stay. The team at this premier inn were brilliant, very helpful and really pleasant. The room its self looked old and tired, but it was very clean. They have a restaurant in the hotel, but itβs not open yet, so we booked breakfast in the pub opposite, which was very nice.β
