“It was my husband who discovered this place for our dinner with friends. Great vibes and love the fact it is a community pub. My starter of the Korean cauliflower was absolutely amazing and I could have very happily eaten a larger portion as a main. For my main however, I went for the pesto bread and butter pudding and again this was delicious. My husband and friends enjoyed their meals. I was too full for pudding but as I wasn't driving, I enjoyed the special cocktail, whiskey sour, before we headed home. Good vegetarian options.”

“My wife had a prawn cocktail starter, which was full of prawns. The sauce was very good, brown bread & butter. I had the Spanish meat platter, which was lovely. Mains were fish & chips, ham chips, fried eggs, old school. Service was 1st class.”

“A fantastic welcome. A must visit if you are Market Drayton. The food was delicious. We were there around one on Mothers day. Five of us had roast beef, and one had the roast chicken. Staff were friendly, attentive, and interested in you as a customer. We all had deserts, including apple crumble, cheese cake, and brownie. Craft Beer had a taste of more, and after a few scoops, we sensibly headed home. I will be visiting here again in the next few months. They are renovating across the car park a wooden structure that looks full of character.”

“We had booked for a table on our walk, and we got there a bit early before opening, but tables outside to sit on. It started to fill pretty quickly, all the food we ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly no complaints from any of us and we were a group of 5. Even some drinks came quirky. “Always been a great bar with great service and a wide selection of quality drinks but yesterday we hired the whole place for grandsons christening 120 people and I must say the service we received from Ben & his team was outstanding from start to finish, they had 3 bar staff on duty and they were none stop from the minute 120 of us walked through the door until we left, not once did you have to wait for a drink & we rang earlier in the week to see if they sold gluten free beer as I have celiac disease, to my amazement they had got a gluten free beer in especially which was the best gf beer I’ve ever had, very rare to find it in draft (which is like a restaurant not selling vegetarian food) but thanks to Ben & his team I could enjoy a decent drink. Thanks for everything guys!”
