“This morning we attended the group for babies and toddlers, run by Lorraine and Sandra, today was pyjamarama day, the children all attended wearing their pyjamas, they had a couple of stories, sang songs, had a little drink and a biscuit, coloured and made a little card crown my grandson, (aged 2 1/2 has loved it). The ladies put in a lot of effort to make this enjoyable setting a bedtime scene telling the stories, thank you for a lovely morning”

Not only the atmosphere, but also the actual contents of the library were very helpful and stimulating. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was sober but very nice (and even had a good writing desk, too), and the restaurant was lovely. The nearby estate offers good opportunities for walking if you need to get away from screen or paper. I hope to return before too long!”

“This is a wonderful boutique hotel with great staff. Each room is named after, and decorated in the style of a famous person. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and put up with our late departure from the room each day. The hotel is very conveniently located with bus stops feet from the door. Our daily trips to the tourist attractions were never more than a bus ride away. Would highly recommend without any reservations on our end.”

“We have had two fitted wardrobes and one bespoke freestanding wardrobe made by the Sofa Library, all of which have exceeded our expectations. “I have been here many many times before and each time it is just so fun, the sheer amount of places you can climb on and slides you can go down is brilliant. It has two sections, one for the older kids there and a dedicated section for I would say under 6. If your looking for a park to go to while your in the area, I would totally recommend this one!”

“Great theatre which is run by a friendly bunch of volunteers, there is plenty of parking nearby and a very well priced bar. I went to see Matt Coyne who was great, the theatre had plenty of space and comfortable seating. There are some historical photos around the lobby area which I thought were fabulous, It really is worth a visit. I will be back again soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“In the last year it has been opened we have been to Msala library probably four or five times, during summer or winter, eat in, take away or in the terrace it has never disappointed. What I love about it is how fresh the food feels in your mouth and how ungreasy it is. Besides the undoubted quality of the food, I really appreciate how humble and friendly the hosts and personnel are. I'm really so glad Msala is round the corner from us!”

“We went as a group of four and each tried the tasting menu. Can highly recommend! My personal favourites were the Taiwanese fried chicken and the beef cubes. Teriyaki sauce is already delicious, and with the hint of truffle (just right), it was raised to the next level. The dessert wine was beautiful, with gorgeous notes of lychee and peach!”

“It is a very good little reading space, I have been using the library since it was opened. Being a good place for me to visit with my children. My only wish is to increase on the opening time for Saturday, please let the library open from 10:00 to 18:00 or even 17:00. For staff old and current. Thank you for your service.”

“Love how the 2 for £14 cocktails dont have to be the same . We tried a few of the cocktails but have to say the Caribbean dream and bubble gum pop was our favourite. The lady behind the bar was amazing and so friendly . Plenty of board games and even monopoly … love how they have paper on the table to draw on”

“I have recently completed a short course at Chesterfield college (3 months intense). It is an evening course so I’m-not always able to attend the library however, the small number of times I’ve needed to. The staff have been superb & supportive. They definitely added to my learning experience. I attended college over 18 years ago prior to this & I can attest that whatever changes have been made, are working! I was able to borrow the books I needed, when renewal time approached I received a gentle reminder via teams & was able to extend twice with no problem whatsoever by Marinka. There is also a lady with blonde hair (never got her name sorry) very warm & friendly. Explains everything, even how to obtain your printing. I have never left a review for a library before so this is proof of what a pleasant experience I have had. I recommend them & all the staff working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it what it is today.”
