“5 piece breakfast was well cooked and tasted great. Two Aloo Parantha came with yoghurt and hot pickles, and was spiced just right. Only took 10 mins to be made from scratch with a coffee. Was cheap and will be using again.”

“I've now been here on two occasions, for coffee with friends. Although we've not eaten here, the service was good ; the waitresses were both pleasant and efficient. Our coffees each time were made to our liking. The baked goods on offer looked very tempting. Our first visit was on Jamie's first day and I was pleased to hear next time that she was doing well.”

“What a great Venue. I visited here as a direct recommendation someone who had posted on line called Karen Jones who shared details about the friendliness of the venue, and that alone was enough to draw me in, but then i tried the food and was blown away. Doing the basics, really well is what it’s all about for me, with the use of High Quality, delicious ingredients. Such a great Vibe, with people and pets, children and adults being welcome. It’s great to see a venue function so well, with a great inviting atmosphere, non pretentious. So many venues these days make too many adjustments for the random occasional immunocompromised that places lose what it is to be a venue of great food, great company and great memories. “This cafe is unique, and hidden away overlooking a large lake. I visited on a rainy day and had a lovely brunch. I can imagine during the summer months given its setting it would be even nicer to visit and sit outside. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I ordered a pot of tea and a small breakfast (see photo). All delicious! The cakes on display looked beautiful but I resisted temptation as I was full from my breakfast. 5 stars!”

“The jerk chicken is an absolute blast – perfectly seasoned, The portion was solid, you definitely won’t leave hungry. The oxtail was amazing – the meat was tender and falling off the bone, and the sauce was full of flavor. Everything was fresh and smelled delicious. Highly recommend if you're looking for real Jamaican taste!”

Service is absolutely fantastic as usual and they were so patient with the kids and changes to the order. Food was fast, hot and tasty. They cater to gluten free really well so that set my mind at ease for my daughter. Great interior and decor, and clean everywhere in arrival with a lovely welcome sign for my other half’s birthday. “Such a lovely place and great food! The waiting staff were lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we did witness a rather unsavoury customer that was extremely rude to a very young waitress. She was impatient and vile. I felt that the owner/manager dealt with the customer very professionally as I was chomping at the bit myself to tell her how extremely rude she had been. I definitely recommend visiting. The great customer service was the cherry on top of fantastic food!”
