“Celebrated my sisters’ birthday here overall a good experience! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. We came to celebrate my twin sisters’ birthday and chose Comos because we thought both would receive a free birthday meal, but unfortunately, only one was offered it. That was a bit disappointing, especially since they’re twins and we were celebrating both of them equally. The food was good, and the ambience was okay nothing extraordinary but still nice. One thing we found a little frustrating was that they started clearing the food about an hour before the stated closing time.”

“Went in to ask about my wife's dietary requirements and they went above and beyond! Fantastic service the first time my wife has been able to eat Chinese and have no reactions at all! “We haven't dined here for over 2 yrs as last time was a bad experience.... but glad we went back today ( 10/10/25). The food was out of this world. The service was exceptional, we even asked if they could cook us some plain noodles and they obliged with no problems. We even ordered a birthday cake surprise for my wife. We arrived around 4pm and had a good 2 hrs in there. The seafood selection was fantastic and the other dishes were lovely. English / Chinese / Indian and pizza. The tepinyaki station looked like nobody was available but we asked the question and they were there within a minute. We will definitely be going again soon.”

“Due to mixed reviews, I had a menu through my letterbox it's says new management,so I thought we try it I haven't used oriental chef for 3 years. (I only had vegan food) Vegan fried rice,vegan chicken curry and vegan chicken balls. I liked it. Big difference compared to 3 years ago. The curry is flawless, not much oil”

“This is our go too chinese , have been using it since the 80s the only gripe we have is they took chicken maryland of the menu , this meal used to feed 3 of our kids lols , always had decent food .sadly this takeaway has now closed down owners apparently went back to China, the building has been sold although as of 20/02/25 unknown what it will trade as .real shame imo used this place for donkeys years”

“This is the only Chinese that is true to their salt& pepper chicken. It was so beautiful I could have cried. Of course the rest of the food was so lovely too! I’m not sure why anybody is leaving negative reviews because their food is exceptional! I think a lot of the time common people just prefer whatever is bland and has less flavour. If you love your food made full of flavour& texture this is the place for you!”

We ordered through justeat and though it was late, and a big order, it arrived still hot. They were also generous to throw in another 3 foods for free. Nothing was rancid or wrong with the food. So I’m surprised to see so much negativity.”
