Chose of the menu rather than the carvery, then people were walking past and I was beginning to think I may regret foing for a prawn starter, absolutely mouth watering, satisfyingly...... spot on. “Drove all the way from Birmingham to try their famous Milk Badam and Rabri Falooda, and must say it was worth the trip. The milk was on point and falooda, while a bit on the sweeter side for me was very nice and authentic in taste. What topped it all was the great service and the uncle at the counter gave us their Punjabi gajarhalwa to try and it was amazing, proper home cooked taste. I would come back just for this!”

“I feel so lucky that Cafe Casita is a 5 minute walk from where I live, this is the second time I have visited this place with my wife since moving to the area and it is amazing. I believe it is a family owned Italian restaurant with a rustic Italian theme inside. You need to book as it is always busy, and rightly so, the food is absolutely amazing, tasty and is presented beautifully. Listen to the mature lady if she suggests a dish as my wife had the scallops that she suggested and I was left wishing I had the same. The outside of the restaurant could do with a slight uplift but when inside that really doesn't matter.”

“Always so friendly to the children in here, my kids love to go and have a meal in Limes. Nice atmosphere, and good that you can take your own bottle of wine in too. Been in many timed over recent months, last for my sons 12th birthday. Especially love the lime pot x”

The delivery was quick and on time, and the driver was polite and friendly. Portions were generous, and everything was well-packaged to avoid spills. Overall, a great experience—delicious food, prompt service, and solid value for money. Definitely ordering again soon!”

“Following my visit on Saturday night I was surprised that there are so many negative reviews of this place. Further investigation reveals that some of them look a bit suspect with one even posting a picture of a different Le Raj. I haven't been here for around 25 years, for no reason other than I don't go into this part of Gornal very often and so it got overlooked. It would have been again but for Google. I chose it because it was thankfully air conditioned, offered BYOB as well licensed, local and the parking is not too bad either. We had a good time here, the staff are very friendly and the service attentive. The atmosphere was good too, quite busy and very much a locals place but having survived so long given the size of Gornal is testament to them. There was one overly loud table but there usually is. The mandatory (for us) poppadoms and chutney tray were nice, unusually featuring a tamarind dip, I guess mango chutney could be available if requested. We went straight into the mains which we really enjoyed, I had a very flavoursome Syleti Bhuna and the wife had an equally tasty balti which she said was 'gorgeous'. Both were very large portions but the chicken and chicken tikka in each was a fraction dry. The sides were very good, especially and unusually, so were the chips. The prices are reasonable with the specials at around £10.50. We won't be leaving it too long until our next visit.”

“Lovely food, very generous portion sizes the soft noodles could easily stretch to 2 people I ordered it for my little ones and it there was plenty to share between them, the curry had plenty of flavour and so did the sweet and sour, chicken balls had a good balance of chicken and batter unlike some places where their all batter and hardly any chicken inside definitely will order again from here .”

“Really good customer services the guys who work he are always friendly and chatty and as for the food it's amazing love there chicken gotta catch it before they run out as it's so tasty they sell out really quickly and such good value for money and as for the orange chips ain't tasted nothing like them before”
