Located on Constitution Street in Aberdeen, Highland Moss is a specialized indoor plant shop and botanical studio. The shop attracts plant collectors locally and across the UK with its unique plant varieties and botanical craftsmanship. Core offerings include rare houseplant specimens, living moss, Spanish moss, and custom terrariums. The store conducts engaging terrarium workshops where participants learn about terrarium history and plant care. In addition to retail sales, the artisans craft bespoke items such as converted bottle lamps and custom botanical displays.

“I can not emphasize enough how pleasant the experience was here . Me and my lady were looking for coffe shops around the area. I had to throw away 3 coffees . They all sucked. I won’t bash their names here but frogmoon was off the beaten path so me and my lady decided why not just try one more.. This place couldn’t be any more of a hidden gem. Adam is engaging and welcoming. He’s a brilliant baker , chef, carpenter, man of many languages and stories. He’s fluent in Arabic , Russian , polish and English. But most importantly fluent in the art of telling stories. He’s my favorite person that I’ve met while over here in Scotland and I want to keep going back . The coffee here is fantastic. He takes his time , simultaneously being quick and precise. His shop is adorned with all sorts of frog moon images-even the saucers and cups. His story about the origin of the name is heartwarming only second to his warm personality. If you haven’t tried this place , do yourself a favor and try it out. You can’t say you love coffe or cake without coming to this place. The cakes are out of this world … I have never had a better cake in my life . I didn’t even want cake until I had his now I’ve gone back multiple times to gorge myself. Try the forest moss cake…”

From start to finish, the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Drinks were topped up promptly, and the service was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The menu offered all the well-loved classics alongside some really interesting dishes I hadn’t seen before. We shared pakoras, bhajis, poppadoms, dips, and sizzling meats to start, and I had the Karahi Chicken for my main—absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The food was excellent, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt effortless despite us being a big group. Couldn’t recommend more highly!”
