The variety they offered was perfect for a gathering—freshly made sandwich platters, crispy goujons, fries, several styles of chicken wings, a range of pizzas, and even hearty chicken curries. Everything arrived hot, well-packaged, and ready to serve. The food was full of flavour, generous in portion, and really well-received by guests of all ages. What meant the most was how The Pizza Place handled the occasion. They were professional, respectful, and showed real care in getting everything right with no stress on our side. From placing the order to delivery, it was all smooth and thoughtful. It’s not easy organising food during a time of loss, but The Pizza Place made it simple and comforting. “Moved to this area about a year ago and this wee place is a literal 2min walk from my door. The staff are very welcoming and always very helpful. The food is great and the prices really surprised me. Extremely good value for money. A chicken ball meal (x8 chicken, a big tub of curry or gravy and a choice of chips, fried rice or noodles was less than £7. Can't beat that with a big stick. My only reason for not giving it a full 5 stars on the food is a very small gripe about the curry. Everyone's taste is different obviously but I personally find it very sweet. Other than that, a great wee place and I'd recommend to anybody in the area. Stuart”

“This is a Chinese 'Takeaway'/'Takeout', so there is no seating to eat in. There is a couple of small steps to go in the door of the premises, so not very accessible for wheelchair users to go inside, though the staff are all really friendly & approachable for help. They provide all the usual Chinese 'Takeaway'/'Takeout' foods. Anything we have eaten from here has been really tasty, good quality food & big portion sizes & really competitively priced! There is a good sized free carpark directly outside, you have the choice to order in the shop or ring your food order in. You can either a delivery or a collection. Then you just pay when you get your food. Im not sure about card payments for deliveries, usually, for these types of phone-in orders for delivery, you will need to pay the delivery driver with cash but for collection, you can pay with cash or card at the counter. There is a large grassy area with lots of huge trees for shade, right beside to shop, that you could let you dog have a wee stretch & potty break, if it's been in the car for a while, but there's not a big dog park nor a kids play park. Also on other side of this carpark & grassy area, there is a busy main road into the town, so kids & dogs will need supervision & dogs would be best kept on their leads, for safety whilst there. There are also other businesses there that also use the carpark. Among others, there is also a small 'corner shop', a chip shop & a pharmacy/chemist there too.”

Tonight, we’ve gone for Orange Duck with Fried Rice, BBQ Ribs, Special Fried Rice, Salted Chilli Chicken with Fried Rice, Veggie Spring Rolls, Beef Chow Mein, and King Prawn with Veggies. A perfect treat for a Tuesday night! The food always arrives hot, and the delivery guy is super friendly. - - - We absolutely loved the food! Everything was amazing. “I bought a cot mattress from Smyth's Forestside a few weeks ago, unfortunately when I brought it home it was not true to size and left a dangerous gap of about 6cm between the cot and mattress. I contacted Smyths customer service over the phone and they sent me a form to fill in with details of the incident and photos of the gap measurement. Smyths customer service was excellent and fully investigated the matter and contacted Smyths in Forestside on my behalf who then provided me with a replacement mattress if my choice. When I returned the faulty one, the staff in Forestside were already fully aware of the situation and provided excellent customer care. Monica in the Nursery section of Smyths was very friendly and helpful. I am delighted with the replacement mattress. Thank you for all the help, my 1 year old is getting a great night's sleep thanks to all at Smyths.”

They were super friendly and even give free poppadom's and even rounded down the bill by a few pounds. Going back many years before that, I ate in with my friends one time, and the owner gave us free shots of alcohol after the bill was paid. The service is just great, and what I like in businesses. 100% recommend.”
