βWell managed. Caring Doctors and Nursing team.β
βCouldn't recommend this hospital enough, Sharon on ward E was particularly fantastic. Kind and caring, basically everything you need when unwell. 10 out of 10 xβ
βHad a consultation with Dr Michelle McHenry. One of the nicest people I have ever met. Same with the two nurses that took blood and the girls in xray.β
βThey stole my liver but I got custard Creams for free so would visit again with the kidsβ
βThe care and attention from the second I walked in to A&E to being discharged 6 days later was second to none. Seen in seconds and rushed through ED. Yes you may have to wait in a coloured chaired zone, Yes you may have to wait then be moved to impatient ED and Yes you may be placed on a corridor bed for a few nights before being placed in a room. Some folks need to remember itβs a hospital not a hotel and they are doing their best to prioritise those that require critical treatment and you are there to be cared for. I am forever grateful to all the guys on Ward 6B for all the help and support I received during my stay.β
βWe lost my dad recently in icu 5 after a sudden stroke. The staff were amazing during a difficult time with no real hope in the end as the bleed got worse. My dad received the best care and passed away in peace. Amazing staff and I want to say Thank youβ
βHave been to Whiteabbey on a few occasions now. Not once could I ever fault the care and treatment I have had there Was in endoscopy unit today for a procedure. Every nurse was lovely. Very friendly and professional. Nina who dealt with me through all was very sweet. During the procedure Linda and Dr Gray were excellent along with the others. Made me feel very relaxed. And of course the wee nurse who made my coffee and toast it was the best ever. I highly recommend this unit and hospital.β
βI stayed here and it was lovely place. Staff were brilliant and did the best they could. The negative reviews are from people that don't understand that the nurses have alot to do and have to write up every little thing. They are understaffed and doing thier best and very kind. My life has been better since leaving and I will always be thankful for the staff and the DBT they provided me. Thank you all xβ
βI have attended the community hospital a number of times. I have always found it a friendly and efficient place. I have never had to join any big queues, most visits are by arrangement or appointment. Very friendly staff.β
βI have been a patient for about 30 years. From reception staff to nurses and GP's I have always had positive experiences. I have only met 2 of the new GP's, but both excellent experiences. Have had no issues getting appropriate triage/treatment during covid. Excellent, professional surgery.β
βRecently visited this hospital to drop off a staff, who had a long-day shift there. It's being managed by the Northern Health & Social Care Trust, & they provide a range of services, including Emergency services, urgent care, outpatient, inpatient, Day-care services, as well as a comprehensive medical & surgical services etc. What I observed during my short stay there; 1. Most of the staff are friendly & accommodating, always willing to help in their own little way possible. 2. The general cleanliness is commendable. Most of the places I passed through are sparkling clean. 3. They have good parking lots, mostly for disabled and those with kids etc. Highly recommended for people living around Antrim & it's environs.β
βVery welcoming staff. Made the experience very easyβ
βGillian has been a pleasure to work with. So knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and made the whole process accessible and not at all difficult. She helped me work through some challenges and could signpost me to latest research. Iβm so glad I connected with her service.β
βAs a parent i looked at theses reviews an didn't want to put my daughter in ere it was my last resort..brooke has a eating disorder. Well I sld of put her in sooner beachcroft done amazing with my daughter she gained weight week by week the male an female nurses are amazing they cldt do enough for her..if u work with them they work with u..I'll be forever grateful for what they done for our family..β
βAttended yesterday due to asthma symptoms. In area visiting family so not registered at practice. The staff couldnβt be more helpful, unfortunately I canβt recall her name but the lady on reception with the enviably neat pony tail was fantastic. Nursing and medical staff also great they had good understanding and a compassionate ear. Patients in this catchment area are very lucky indeed.β
βCalled the irwin practice today at 1040am. It took me 20mins to get through. The gp phoned me back at 1130 and has organised medication for me to be picked up before lunch. Excellent service. To wait 20mins on the phone to get through is not much considering in total i have been treated within an hour. Receptionist and gp were both professional and very helpful. Thank youβ
βItβs near the house and I can get my shopping after, as it is beside the shops. It can be difficult to get through on the phone, but what do you expect as everyone has a physical or mental issue (both) that needs a doctorβs attention. This means the GP has to see so many patients in one day and the phones ring off the hook.β
βNever had a problem with Lisburn health centre. Always under pressure, but still do a good job. I had an appointment with Dr Mckee today, this man is so professional, and sorted me out with my breathing problems.β
βMy family have been with this surgery for 27 years. I've always found them to be professional, respectful, kind and thoughtful; from reception staff, to the practice nurses and the Doctors. I'm grateful for them all and the exceptional care they give, particularly during challenging times.β
βCannot fault Rosehall practice. Post Covid every aspect of the health service is struggling. Yes Iβve had to ring more than 10 times to get through but thatβs standard. Anytime Iβve needed an appointment and especially for my little one, it has NEVER been an issue being seen/phone consultation. They donβt get the credit they deserve. Keep up the good workβ
βThe hospital is a district general hospital with top notch care. I can vouch for the pediatric side of the hospital. The nursing staff is probably the best that you would find in the country. The doctors are an extremely dedicated team genuinely interested in the well being of the little ones. The facilities are at par with the best that can be expected from a hospital of this size. Great centre for the children with diabetes as well. Some seriously good work is being done here in all departments including cancer diagnosis, cytopathology, obstetrics medicine and mental health. Yes the A and E is overflowing but the team does their best to give relief to all attendees.β
βMy Dad went to Cregagh Nursing home for respite care after being discharged from hospital. Initially I was concerned because of some previous reviews. However my Dadβs time here has proved times must have changed at Cregagh. The staff are all very welcoming and they create a very pleasant environment for the residents. The atmosphere in the home is relaxed, yet professional. Dad is quite a fussy eater but he enjoyed the food. His room was warm, clean and spacious. Dadβs physical recovery has been continual from his arrival here and now heβs ready to come home.β
βBrilliant practice, been going for almost 10 years and always able to get an appointment/speak to someone when necessary. All doctors, nurses and administrative staff are kind, professional and highly competent. All concerns handled with respect and compassion. Disappointed to have recently moved home and fallen out of their catchment area!β
