“Whenever I use Birmingham International Airport & going through Birmingham Int Railway Station, I invariably stop at Caffe Ritazza for refreshments. The staff are courteous, sweet & helpful. The coffee is excellent and the ambience very relaxing. I heartily recommend this cafe as a pit stop before continuing your journey.”

I will be honest I’m a frequent visitor to this Starbucks and the team always have a smile on their faces and offer the best service. I get making coffee of various forms is long and can take time but the staff always are kind and apologetic if needed. The music playing always makes me smile and the staff seem to have a laugh and support each other. I come back to this Starbucks for a reason. Well done team!”

Their warmth and enthusiasm for the food were infectious, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Food: The menu offered a variety of traditional Eritrean dishes, with a strong focus on rich, spiced stews and the unique flatbread, injera. I decided to try a few of the highlights: • Zigni: This spicy beef stew was a revelation. The beef was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, enveloped in a robust sauce that was rich and perfectly spiced. Each bite was a harmonious blend of heat and savoury goodness. • Injera: The injera was unlike any bread I’ve had before. Made from teff flour, it had a slightly sour taste that complemented the stews wonderfully. Its spongy texture made it ideal for scooping up the zigni and absorbing the flavours beautifully. • Vegetarian Sampler: As a lover of vegetable dishes, the sampler was a delightful surprise. It included a variety of lentils, spinach, and other vegetable stews, each with its distinct flavour. The lentils were particularly noteworthy, with a rich, earthy taste that was comforting and satisfying.”

“We took some friends here as we had been previously and had an amazing experience and time, so thought we would share with some more friends who travelled from Stoke on Trent. We were all absolutely delighted and the staff team delivered outstanding customer service, we were met and greeted by Leah and Natasha who are lovely ladies and what great senses of humour! Guy, Harry and the Chef Jay and Ahmed took exceptional care of the 6 of us. The menu has an excellent array of choices and we had deep fried onion rings and cheesy garlic bread the best we’ve ever tasted. The Bacon chop, cottage pie and chicken parmigiana were quite simply delicious and excellent value for money and we all tried something different and we all agreed it was worth the journey from Stoke on Trent. One of our group bought some chocolates as we were leaving but they were gone by the time we arrived home! Thanks to Guy and the team who made our visit perfect nothing was too much trouble and they all went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed! We shall definitely be back! An outstanding customer service experience in such an iconic setting we shall definitely return!”

“Staying on the travel lodge upstairs. Had bacon sandwich and large latte. The coffee is lovely much better than some big brands and the sandwich was lush. My egg was runny and bacon crispy. Highly recommended. I ll be back again defo my new fav cafe in town”
