“I was very nervous about joining a group as a first time Mum and Lisa instantly made me feel at ease! The baby development course is perfect for finding creative ways to keep your little one entertained whilst supporting healthy development. There was great balance between facilitated content and time to just play and get to know the other Mums. Definitely recommend!”
“Lots of activities for the children. My toddler loved feeding the lambs, sitting on a horse, picking his own chicken egg and riding on a tractor trailer. Lots of animals to see and plenty of outdoor spaces to play in. Really lovely farm. (Soft play is also there but we didn't go in due to the gorgeous) Recommended place to visit”
“Lovely venue. Excellent atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Great value drinks and snacks...£1.50 For a coffee”
“Lots more to do in here than we expected, thought it'd only take an hour but the kids found lots to do. The staff were all really friendly and the kids loved all the characters hidden around the castle”
“Seems like a nice place for kids. We had a class here and my little one enjoyed the class and the setting of the room with some activities for kids.”
“We booked jump extreme for my sons birthday party. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful, and a special mention to Sue who was absolutely fantastic! She truely went above and beyond to ensure my son had the best time possible. The food was very high quality and to top it off they gave a free pass to all the children who attended the birthday party. Would strongly reccomend.”
“Best nursery by far! The team are fab. They are friendly, professional and lovely people! Very helpful, Jayne assisted me with a few things and really helped me. After a bad experience with a different nursery I can’t believe the difference. My child absolutely loves it and has taken a big liking into Emma which makes my mind at rest! Thank you so much! X”
“Fabulous place run by fabulous people. Thank you Jo and Simon and all who work here”
“Such a brilliant nursery, the manager is lovely and all the staff are so caring with my 2 1/2 year old”
“Have purchased many items from here and the advice given has been phenomenal. Most recently, I came in to discuss an issue with an item. I was so impressed with the kindness shown by Matt, who not only listened to the problems I had, but asked me how I would like it to be resolved. Following this he resolved the issue and went above and beyond to help us out and rectify the situation. Thank you to Matt for his kindness, patience and knowledge! It was so appreciated.”
“Dear Argos admin, what is the story of this little bench here? Looks ‘a bit’ tatty. Speedy pickup tho, all good otherwise :)”
“Great evening out. Suitable for kids as well as adults. Paid for half an hour and it was just right as going up the escalators a few times is enough. Spent some time with drinks, so overall time there was about 2hrs and 30 mins.”
“What a beautiful place to walk around and see many birds. The Visitor hut wasn't open when we went on Sunday but there are toilets, café, and small shops at Middleton Hall a short walk from the car park. £4 parking for non members.”
“Went to see A Night Of The Sixties , thoroughly enjoyed it. We were made to feel very welcome. The cast were really good. Great fish and chips, would recommend one of there shows as an evening out”
“21/12/2025 My daughter's 8th Birthday party. Looked after by ruby and Sophie. Absolutely zero complaints, handled extremely well especially considering additional pressure close to Christmas. We had the royal room and would 100% recommend it for all other budding princesses. Thanks people! P.s. tickets in advance question at the end. I only say not sure as it's quite accommodating anyway, so normal visits you're usually ok. Obviously for parties booking is essential. Probably book yeah, I'll mark it yes so this was a pointless p.s. but I've wrote it now.”
“Great range of kit, knowledgeable staff and looking forward to the new refurbished gym. The Spa area is also a huge bonus to help relax after a good workout.”
“Book directly and have breakfast included at a lower overall price. Free secure car parking right in the centre of town and you cannot go wrong. The people are lovely and the whole establishment is sparkling clean. Sometimes the reward of taking a risk and supporting the local independent pays off high dividends. I will stay here again for certain.”
“What a great experience, if you love snow boarding, Ice skating, sleding, it is cold in there so you need to wrap up warm , there is a santa show and lots of different animals to see and pet, you can also buy food for them , great for the little kids . The kids can also write a letter to santa (adults too).”
“Our family had the most wonderful stay-and-play experience at Drayton Manor Resort, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I visited recently during their Halloween special, and it was a magical experience from start to finish. Everything — from the themed décor to the warm hospitality — made it one of the best family getaways we’ve ever had. The highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, the Thomas Land theme park. Our little boy is a huge Thomas the Tank Engine fan, and seeing his face light up when we entered was priceless. He absolutely loved riding on the Thomas-themed trains, meeting his favourite characters, and exploring all the fun rides designed especially for younger children. The park was beautifully decorated for Halloween with pumpkins, friendly ghosts, and cheerful seasonal music, creating a festive yet family-friendly atmosphere. Every corner had something new to discover, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making the experience enjoyable for both kids and parents. We also stayed overnight in one of the Thomas & Friends-themed rooms, and it was simply amazing. The attention to detail was outstanding — from the Thomas bedding and wall art to the little touches that made our son feel like he was sleeping in Sodor itself. He was so thrilled that he didn’t want to go to bed, and the next morning, he didn’t want to leave! In fact, he kept asking if we could stay “just one more night” so he could go back to Thomas Land again. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. The food options were great, and everything was clean, well-organized, and family-oriented. Overall, Drayton Manor Resort is a dream destination for families, especially those with young children. We created some truly special memories and can’t wait to visit again — maybe next time for Christmas or summer!”
“Namco Funscape Tamworth: A Sensory Odyssey Six out of Five Stars (Must be Experienced) Forget your sensible, minimalist leisure activities. If you are looking for tranquility, low-key lighting, or subtle décor, please turn your sensible saloon car around right now. Namco Funscape Tamworth is not here for subtlety; it is here for maximalist, unadulterated, glorious FUN. It’s less a venue, and more a vibrant, electric explosion of pure entertainment energy. From the moment you step onto the carpet—a geometric marvel that perfectly camouflages three decades of soft drink spills and ambition—you are enveloped in a sensory blitzkrieg. The air is thick with the scent of popcorn, industrial-strength floor cleaner, and a hint of ozone from the overworked prize claw machines. The soundscape is a triumphant symphony of 8-bit chip tunes, the crash of falling pins, and the collective, desperate whirring of air hockey tables. This is not noise, my friends; this is authentic atmosphere. The Sanctity of the Arcade The arcade section is a museum of coin-operated history, yet somehow every cabinet is still demanding your attention, flashing with a reckless disregard for epilepsy warnings. You will spend hours, and approximately the cost of a small, pre-owned vehicle, pursuing the pointless, glorious accumulation of paper tickets. This is a pilgrimage, a quest for the ultimate reward: a plastic spider ring, a sticky hand, or a pencil topper that costs roughly 5,000 times its retail value in sunk credit. We salute this irrational economic system. It is perfection. The Lanes of Legend The bowling area is immaculate, in the most Tamworth way possible. The hired shoes—truly the peak of mid-20th-century athletic footwear—are practically a fashion statement, hinting at the athletic prowess you're about to unleash. The lanes themselves are fast, true, and possibly possess a slight, undetectable tilt designed purely to challenge the physics of your spin. A perfect strike here feels less like a sport and more like winning a highly personalized battle against gravity and fluorescent lighting. Necessary Fuel The food is exactly what you want: unapologetic, perfectly greasy, and delivered with the speed of a well-oiled machine. It’s fuel for the next round of air hockey, designed to maximize your sugar rush and maintain peak concentration for the highly complex task of guiding a plastic ball through a clown’s mouth. It is the gastronomic equivalent of the entire venue: loud, fun, and utterly essential. Go to Namco Funscape. Embrace the glorious chaos. Allow the neon lights to heal your soul. If you leave without a massive novelty slushie and at least one sticky wristband, you haven't lived.”
“Great selection of toys, kids love going there as staff demonstrate some of the toys and games. They have good promotions on occasionally. Always a good visit before birthdays and Christmas”
“I stayed here twice for work. I must say it was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Excellent place to stay if you are away from home on a business trip.”
“What a an amazing little pre school my daughter loves here would highly recommend to anyone ❤️”
“Loved this nursery. Amazing setting, amazing staff, amazing set activities (pony visits, football, etc.) which had an unbelievably positive impact on my daughter. One of the saddest things about leaving the UK was taking her out of TOSH. Well done and thank you to the team.”
“My daughter is so happy here. Staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming! The updates I get during the day are insightful and great to see what they get up to!”
“We have been here a few times (possibly 8 times) and it has always been great. Th play area is very good, very nice size ( my son is almost 4 and it is very suitable for that age, not really for the kids above age 6), the food is tasty, the standard of cleanliness is also very good. Happy with the visit.”
“Hired for my grandaughters birthday party. Lovely set up and plenty of room for the little ones to play, dance and enjoy.”
“My little girl has been coming here for just over a year now and absolutely loves it, she has lovely bonds with all staff members and I love that I can check online via an app on how she's getting on throughout the day. The nursery also serves a variety of food and meals that I wouldn't usually cook at home which my girl loves :)”
