Delivery was on time and they made sure my delivery was placed somewhere which wouldn't be in the way. “Great food, service and dog friendly. We booked a table in the bar area late afternoon on Saturday 25th January. Good time to go for us and with our dog as not too many people in the bar area. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered three sides, a burger and loaded fries. Food was delicious and there was plenty enough for two. Left feeling very full! Our dog had lots of fuss from the customers too which he loved.”

“I have visited here 3 times with my son. He had his first hair cut at 14 months old by Karokh. I would highly recommend him to everyone !!!! He has the patience of a saint. My little boy was so upset when he got his first hair cut and Karokh was brilliant with him, he was singing nursery rhymes, talking to him, constantly stopping to wash his dummy each time there was hair on it. He was such a perfectionist too! I do dread trips to the barbers, as I feel so bad on the barbers there because my son screams for the whole time, but each time all of the men inside the shop are so welcoming towards us. I would highly recommend this barbers.”

“Went on Saturday with my severe needle phobia (long history) daughter who desperately wanted her belly button pierced. We’ve been somewhere else where it was a no go. Called The Maxx after hearing good things about them. Popped in at told to do, Wow (I think it was Tash) was amazing, so understanding, patient and caring, talked and explained everything to my daughter, told her we’ll go your speed when your ready, it took 3 attempts but she did it, my daughter was crying with joy. Tash and the team you are fantastic and I can’t thank you enough. One very happy daughter !!”

“We enjoyed two nights at Grafton Manor and would have loved to stay longer. The peaceful setting of the hotel was just what we needed as we had travelled from Scotland for the burial of a dear friend. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Alison’s service at breakfast was very much appreciated- nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast choices were excellent and everything was cooked to perfection. We would recommend to anyone.”

“We attended my grandsons 1st birthday party there . The room was a great venue to hold such an event , there was a small soft play area for toddlers and babies with plenty of seating for parents . We brought a play tunnel and tent to add to the equipment and we decorated the venue with balloons and added themed touches around the room . The bar was well stocked and the service was friendly . We provided our own buffet style food for the guests and they brought their own drinks , so we can't comment on the pubs own food. The pub is not far from surrounding towns and a nice drive out . A great venue to hold a private event or to just pop in for a drink or two .”
