“HTW does a top notch job packaging the shipments. I live at a great distance and have the items shipped and it is the best you will see. The order is always processed fast. Typically they have to the shipper within 24 hours. So even though I am in another country if I ordered on a Monday I could have it for a weekend party .”

“Great owner, usually good supply of items but my God - do u get followed around by their worker. Soon as u pick an item to buy it, as he was already watching you - he comes out the back with exact item sticking it before you had time to properly turn around and walk away. Admire his work commitment but creepy AF. Small sized shop, offers lottery, scratch cards, bus passes, pay point, cigarettes, alcohol and vape stuff. Few fresh veggies and fruit, sandwiches and buns. Small ATM inside that charges 99p currently to withdraw (as of Jan 2021). Parking outside but spaces are minimal due to access, temp traffic lights and double yellows. It’s also on a one way road so plan properly if driving. Directly next to a Royal Mail sorting office so they do tend to take those few spaces depending on the time of day. On the other side is a chippy and a grocery store. Prices are ok, nothing steep. Used to be open till 10pm but I think it’s 9pm since lockdown. Please check.”

I've had beef burger 8oz three times and mashallah never does it disappoint always making it with top care and due attention beef is timely cooked so its ready for collection all the time I've got plenty of praises for the owner it still won't do him justice His home made fries and chicken bites are out of this world. “Christmas 2024 was the first time I had used Connolly’s (who had been recommended to me). I had a large order to send to various clients across the country; Connolly’s helped me with the wine selection and also provided a packing and postage service. They got the deliveries out on time, which was a feat as I couldn’t confirm some of the recipients’ details until the last minute. The quality of wines and the level of service received was excellent and well worth the money. I highly recommend Connolly’s and will certainly use them again.”

I looked online for a replacement but there was nothing even near to the design, but we were visiting Heart of the Country and I suggested that we popped into the Allen Brown Gallery, where we'd bought the original, not thinking that we'd find the same one all these years on. There was exactly the same ring in a cabinet but not the right size, they offered to order a new one but the new ones were a bright finish. R wanted matt, like his original. That wasn't a problem either. We picked up the ring this week, it was perfect! Thank you to everyone. They were all so helpful, nothing was a problem, they made it all so easy. Brilliant, caring service from really lovely people.”
