“Very nice country pub which has been refurbished and is now under new management. The new team are very friendly and welcoming. The landlord can’t do enough for his customers, everything you ask for is ‘No Problem’. Great customer service. There's a nice log fire and a great selection of real ales at reasonable prices. The only down side is they only serve cold food, but it’s a good selection that goes particularly well with the traditional ales that are on sale. They take party bookings and will put on a buffet to suit the number of guests. I went with my family on Sunday afternoon and everybody enjoyed themselves. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was great.”

“Quality and reasonable Indian fare, staff are friendly, the place is practical but pleasant enough. Always swing by on our bi-annual area visit. If you've not tried it, I'd say it's worth the visit. Great for a family get together, big or small groups, would recommend you book though as can get busy.”

“Came in today to get a replacement whisky for an investment whisky that had been gifted to me. Absolutely brilliant customer service Robyn was brilliant even though he was definitely nervous he didn't let that stop him his very detailed whisky knowledge shone through along with his true passion for the artform that is whisky. He explained in detail the specific whisky i had purchased along with palate notes finish and nose notes when he gave me a sample of said whisky and even chased after us because we had forgot something i will not be going anywhere else for whisky ever again. “Really like this cafe, especially their Flat white, one of the best I’ve tried so far. Can do some work on the first floor but the heating works better on the ground floor. The stuff is so nice as well!!!”

“I had the nicest, fattest bacon sandwich. There was at least 4 rashers as apose to the 2 most places give you. It was quite possibly the best bacon sandwich I've had. The staff are welcoming and unlike a lot of the food establishments such as the 2 chippy's they accept card payments.”
