“One not to miss! I booked in for a wash, restyle, and blow dry with Tia—and I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous (we’ve all had that overenthusiastic scissor experience!). But from the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. Even when I had to take a work call that delayed things, Tia was totally unfazed—cool as a cucumber. The hair wash? Absolute heaven. I genuinely nearly nodded off during the head and back massage. Tia really listened to what I wanted and also suggested a few fresh ideas—she clearly knows her stuff. Once she worked her magic and finished the blow dry, I walked out feeling like a million bucks. Honestly, I think I had a bit of a bounce in my step (and not just in my hair). The staff was excellent polite and friendly. They colour, style and cut all types of hair including European and afro Caribbean. They were also quick and they did an excellent job of cutting my natural blowdryed afro caribbean hair. They are also reasonably priced. All round an excellent level of service and professionalism will definitely be going back.”

“I chose this salon spontaneously after finding a good deal on groupon for a wash cut and blow dry. Located on the main road it’s easy to find and upon arrival I was greeted kindly by the lovely hairdresser who proceeded to wash my hair. Never in my life have I felt to relaxed, the scalp massage was amazing. I opted for a trim and feathers which were done to an excellent standard, I felt very comfortable as we had a lovely chit chat and I was offered hot/cold beverages. Underrated salon, I left feeling so fresh and my hair was so silky, smooth and fresh I felt like a whole new person. 10/10”

I was a bit nervous, but the staff at Spring Curly Hair Salon made me feel welcome and at ease, especially Reegan and Laurie, who were amazing! They were lovely to speak with, Reegan communicated every step, and explained why, which made me feel comfortable and gave me insight into how to take care of my curly hair. “3 of the barbers are fantastic and understanding but one of them i asked him for a taper and gave me a high fade i also told him not to take off the side too much to leave it bulky he cut into it, 6 months of growth wasted i had to restart i also said i wanted no texture cuz i was tryna grow it but he still done it. the other three are fantastic i will never let the same guy touch my hair again.”
